The fact that the owner of Casa Bubu waited on us for our four course breakfast was, not only a surprise but a lot of fun. We also enjoyed the bar and the signature cocktail that was created for Casa Bubu. The location was perfect. It was just a few blocks from the busy Centro, but with several restaurants nearby. Another plus, was the security of the casa. With my wife occasionally traveling solo, I would feel comfortable with her staying here. Do yourself a favor and stay here.

The tours they offer are a good value and easy to sign up for. The vibe is social but it’s not a party hostel. There’s a big staff, so someone is always available to help you, and they keep everything clean and nice. The location is very convenient, close to the main plaza and to the shopping district.
