And the kitchen was well appointed making away from home meal prep a breeze. Annie was a kind and friendly hostess and happy to share info about the area with us.

Shared bathroom is large and has an entrance from both bedrooms for easy access.

The location up on Coromandel Peninsula is simply beautiful. We walked across the road to the rocky beach for sunset each evening, where you could hear a pin drop, very peaceful! This is a lodge that caters to campers as well as folks renting kitchenette rooms, like us. People come here for the fishing, and I heard it was very good. If we had stayed another day, it would have been fun to go out on a charter boat for a day of fishing. We went on excursions each day, one was to hike the Coromandel Coastal Walkway, just fantastic. There is no shortage of fun things to see and do here. You do have to bring groceries with you, as there is no restaurant nearby.

Excellent hosts, clean, comfortable and quiet. Very kind people and the pool is fabulous. So glad we could enjoy the pool, but would stay longer next time, so we could really enjoy it longer! Fascinating place and amazing gardens.
