Boasting a terrace with lake views, an indoor pool and a garden, The Retreat can be found in Taupo, close to Great Lake Convention Centre and 35 km from Orakei Korako Cave and Thermal Park. The houses are located just by the lake with a wonderful view, in a very calm and relaxing area. They are clean, and furnished as at home with all necessary equipment. The manager was super friendly and helpful with recommendations about attractions and places to eat nearby. We would definitely stay longer and come back again.

Apartment Twelve is located in Taupo and features a heated pool and inner courtyard views. There is a private entrance at the apartment for the convenience of those who stay. Large two story apartment with a garage to park in. We drove into downtown to eat, since recent knee surgery limited distance, but normally we would have walked. Shared bathroom is large and has an entrance from both bedrooms for easy access.

Located in Cambridge, Summerfields B & B is a recently renovated accommodation, 11 km from Hamilton Gardens and 11 km from Mystery Creek Events Centre. The location and the room were absolutely stunning and had a very relaxing vibe and energy. The bed was luxurious and comfortable, as were the pillows. There was a heat pump with air conditioning function to set the temperature you want. The kitchen facilities were more than you could ask for. There was an amazing array of breakfast foods, coffee and tea, and even complimentary chocolates on the pillow. The bathroom was great also, very good shower pressure and once again decorated beautifully. The host was also so nice, super easy check in and check out experience. I would gladly come back here again :)

Located just 49 km from Rotorua International Stadium, 5 Acres B&B offers accommodation in Tokoroa with access to a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, a garden, as well as a shared kitchen. Everything at 5 Acres has been great. It’s really impossible to find any defect or issue. It felt like heaven, so I definitely recommend it!

Boasting pool with a view and views of mountain, Anglers Lodge is a recently renovated holiday park set in Coromandel Town, 15 km from Driving Creek Railway and Potteries. The setting was awesome. Nice view. Fisherman's paradise

Offering garden views, English Cherry Tree Manor in Tamahere features accommodation, a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, a garden, barbecue facilities and a shared lounge. This was a rare find. The long, tree lined driveway invited us in. The manor lived up to the name and is well maintained, and is decorated in the style. The extensive garden was impressive and we enjoyed walking around and exploring it, and the bonus was feeding the alpacas! The hostess was very welcoming and informative. We would very happily go back and spend more time (this time it was a one night transit stop over). Our congratulations to the host and hostess for the work they have done, as it really is very impressive and this property has a lot of character.
