We booked this place because of its location next to the airport, and it's so convenient if you have a very early flight the next day. The location around might seem a bit shady, but it's actually a guarded condo, so we felt super safe. The house is very big and offers all comforts. The rooms are small but very comfortable, and the living room and outdoor space are great for a lovely dinner with friends. We also used the pool, and the water was warm and clean. To top it all, the owner was the loveliest host we've met: he helped us get dinner ordered, as well as a taxi for the next day.

With river views, PuraChata Ecolodge is set in Iquitos and has a restaurant, room service, bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and terrace.

I’ve stayed one week in the wonderful Guacamayo Azul integrating my journeys in the jungle, and seriously, I have no words how amazing this place is! The house is luxurious, huge comfortable main bedroom, fully equipped kitchen where I felt I could cook as if I was back home. The pool is another sort of privilege; calm and safe location, comparing to the rest of Iquitos. Julio, the housekeeper, would help me with absolutely everything I needed - driving me to do buy groceries, help around the house, even accompanying me to explore the local area’s gems so I don’t feel uncomfortable as a solo female traveler. A special thanks to him! The house is massive and would fit a company up to 8 people, but also it’s an incredible stay for a solo person, who seeks quietness and solitude, like in my case. I truly appreciate my time in Guacamayo Azul, and it only leaves me to wonder why it’s not yet fully booked. I wish you that!

Loved our stay. The staff were very friendly. The hotel had a comfortable lodge type feel. Despite being in the center of town, the hotel was fairly quiet in comparison to typical centrally-located hotels. Great location, very clean and comfortable with everything working.

This lodge is located on the banks of the Amazon River in Yanamono's Communal Reserve, 80 km from Iquitos. It offers rustic accommodation and daily guided excursions into the Amazonian Jungle.

The room and the whole place was as described and as on the pics. TV, AC and WiFi worked good. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The room had space for the clothes and also table and chairs. For three nights it was good.

2nd time i have stayed here the room is a good size with a decent shower in a compact shower room, the bed was a bit to hard for my liking , the lighting was good , there was hanging space and a small counter top . The roof top pool area was a good space to relax ,. Breakfast was a bit limited but ok .The hotel was within walking distance of all aminities , plenty of shops and restaurants.I will stay again one day.
