After 4 weeks travelling around Peru we came to El Samay and it was just perfect. From the warm welcome from Marianne when we arrived to the moment we left it was the best way to spend 4 nights of peace and quiet in the most beautiful setting. The staff were all fantastic, Veronica was on the end of whatsap should we need any help with absolutely anything and we were very sad to leave this morning. The area is super peaceful - perfect to unwind, swim in the sea and the beautifully clean pool and to just sit on our balcony watching humpback whales ( I saw 7 in three days - keep your eyes peeled ) was magical. The food was great , being brought a 7.30am coffee each morning was such a treat and I would definitely stay here again. Thanks again for a wonderful few days.

This hotel is so amazing, I cannot recommend staying here enough! It was so beautiful the beach was right there. It was so quiet the staff was so kind the rooms were beautiful and clean too.

The staff was amazing and superfriendly. They knew my habits and preferences and anticipated on that. They provided real good information, even though we didn't speak each others language. The whale tour was amazing, many whales jumped out of the water. Breakfast was large. The menu was great. Many sunbeds in different areas. Next to the pool you could tap free cold drinking water. It made my trip in Peru perfect!

Incredible property, full of character and charm with spectacular views over the open ocean. The pool is wonderful, warm and clean surrounded by palm trees, flowers and plenty of chairs, sunbeds. There is a yoga/relaxation space with bean bags, hammock to swing and look over the Pacific and a games area with mini pitches for football and volleyball. Communication is excellent with Sergio the owner knowing everyone and everything. The beach is golden sand and breaking waves with sea birds, including pelicans flying over. It's a ten minute walk to two cafes which serve basic food and coffee. The accommodation is well laid out with fully equipped kitchen and soft furnishings. Sitting room and bedrooms have ocean views and access to a large balcony. If it's peace, tranquility and nature you are looking for this is it.

It was an amazing place to relax and arrive in Peru after mi long transatlantic flight. The hotel is very clean. All the staff very attentive and lovely. In the morning you can enjoy a delicious breakfast buffet.
