Absolutely stunning hotel right in the heart of Loboc and close to lots of nearby activities like the Tarsier Sanctuary, floating restaurants, etc. My room was comfortable but the most basic type, so it didn't quite stack up to the rooms my friends had, but for the lower price I paid I can't complain - it was fine for one night. The best thing about the Loboc River Resort though is its staff - they are so welcoming, friendly and professional and their customer service skills are impeccable (I've never stayed anywhere where they greeted me by my name every time I came to reception). The activities they offer are also great - we tried paddle boarding on the river and the firefly boat excursion - the latter is an absolute must! All in all a great stay, thank you Loboc River Resort :)

The proximity to Alona Beach is about 8 minutes ride. It is located in a quiet area to relax and unwind but not too laid back to bore you to death. The place is enough to accommodate maximum comfort, provides safety but caters a tourist feel. I would definitely be back here a lot of times soon.

Overall vibes of the resort was perfect for winding down. Resort is located right by the cliff of the sea with sea and sunrise/sunset views. Staff were very attentive and made us feel very comfortable. Plus point: the resort has many dogs and cats roaming around as the owner rescues them
