New ZealandWe loved our time at The Funny Lion - the facilities are excellent, staff greet you by name and are great at helping with anything you need to help the stay be incredibly smooth.
The location is superb, right next to the Town Square in El Nido. It’s very easy to hire scooters or jump into a trike from here and get to all the main tour areas.
The treat every night with the turndown service was also a lovely addition. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again at The Funny Lion.

SwedenThe property was well maintained and really beautiful, pool area was clean and really nice aswell. Staff was amazing, and Iara helped us with everything we needed help with; such as transport, trips and did everything to make our stay even better. It was a very quiet part of San Vincente so if you want a quiet area or something romantic then this is perfect. It’s right by Long Beach and we pretty much had the whole beach for ourselves. If we’re ever coming back to this area this is definetly the place we’ll be going to.

A great hotel, so cozy, beautiful. Super friendly staff, we felt like at home. I really loved the beach, the water is clean, no trash, you can see your feet. No jellyfish. We also loved the lizards living in Daluyon. The swimming pool is also great. The room is very nice (deluxe)

There was a warm welcome. Rooms were ready. The room was already on a pleasant temperature. The bathroom was spacious. The bed was good and we slept well after a 5 hour drive. Great staff and helpful. View from the rooftop is fantastic. Swimming pool was nice. Water temperature was nice.
Breakfast was nice, there were several options to choose from.
Upon check out, gentle reminder for not forgetting personal items in the room.

The friendly hotel staff with heart-warming smile on their faces always. The concierge Caren, Justin, Daniel are sweet and my wife and I really enjoyed chatting with them and sharing experience. I’d really appreciated that.

The owner and staff were very friendly and welcoming. They provided a delicious breakfast at a time that I requested. The rooms were clean and comfortable with working AC. The property has a swimming pool, outdoor gym, board games and a music room. They were very accommodating when I asked to leave my suitcase here for 3 days and let me use the facilities upon my return for a very small fee. The owner also organised my transport to El Nido, saving an unnecessary journey to a pick up point. I’d definitely stay again!

Staff were so helpful prior, during and at the end of our stay. Lovely clean room with facilities needed. Basic but everything worked. Take ear plugs as there is a wonderful chorus sung by local chickens day and night! Wifi worked well so was able to keep in touch with home. Swimming pool was definitely a bonus.
