Great stay, very kind people and a lot of services (swimming pool, gym and wellness [not used]), nice and healthy breakfast.

The gardens were beautiful, the room spacious and clean and comfortable. The owners were very friendly and accommodating and the breakfasts delicious and wholesome.

Our stay at Casal do Vulcão was very good! This peaceful and beautiful place, made of volcanic stones, is surrounded by lush greenery, offering a perfect location to explore Vulcao dos Capelinhos and the rest of the island. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the well-equipped kitchen made our stay more comfortable. We also loved the beach nearby.

Very nice rooms and neatly built area, it is running by a lovely family who makes your stay more comfortable and you feel like home! The views and the location are breathtaking. Breakfast is rich and delicious from products locally grown. You can have dinner there prepared by the family and with fresh and local products. very tasty and recommended!

It was immaculately clean and it was so comfortable. My husband and I had the downstairs king bedroom with a large bath, our baby granddaughter had the adjoining room and her parents were upstairs in the large bedroom with bath. The kitchen was well equipped and we enjoyed cooking there as well as eating out. The views of the harbor and the sea are gorgeous and the house is on the side of a hill just above the downtown area. It is very private and buffered from the street by fields with horses. The supermarket is two blocks away and the harbor is about a kilometre. The host, Laurentius, is a delightful gentleman and communication both before and during our visit was excellent!

The house was recently renovated (my opinion) . Workmanship was excellent. The house exterior,interior ,The patio ,barbeque area, pool and grounds are all nicely appointed and maintained to a high standard. The kitchen is well equipped with alot of extras(fruit, spices,condiments,etc). The house is isolated ,completely quiet with postcard worthly views. Bruno The owner is what is commonly known as a super host. Hé was there for me and my family in all aspects. In summary and top tier experience. My number 1 recommendation. Ps. Good Star glazing spot.

Azoris Faial Garden – Resort Hotel is situated in parkland on the edge of the historical city of Horta. It features indoor and outdoor pools and stunning views over the marina and Mount Pico. great view of Pico mountain from our room and the pool. Old style and a bit dated but clean, comfortable and well serviced. staffs are very friendly and helpful. there is a shortcut to city center/ port which is not visible in google map.
