Overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, Casa das Proteas is located at Estrada das Covas nº8, São Jorge, Madeira Island, 50 km from Funchal. The location is excellent as a starting point for several hikes. Owner is very nice and she cooks very well! Breakfast was good and the room was clean and comfy! We had a nice ocean view!

The hotel is beautiful , perched on a cliff with amazing views of the ocean. The grounds are also gorgeous to walk through. Perched on a cliff facing the Atlantic Ocean, this design hotel is within a renovated traditional farmhouse. Location was amazing, the view was breathtaking and of course the breakfast was fantastic.

The newly renovated 4-star Hotel Baía Azul is ideally situated a 4-minute walk from Funchal’s beachfront. Excellent breakfast, very comfortable bed, fantastic view from the window! The staff is responsive and kind. Especially the woman at the bar, who prepared coffee and told us about the complimentary glass of Madeira wine!

The seafront 4-star hotel Aqua Natura Bay in Madeira features an indoor and outdoor swimming pool, a Turkish bath, a sauna and a hot tub. A gym is also available, as well as an on-site diving centre. Simply perfect. The value for money is perfect. All the small gifts, attention and comfort we enjoyed. The restaurant is perfect.

Room is clean, spacious and cosy. The breakfast was full of choices. The offer of excursions is very nice. The absolutely pleasant and warm to my heart was the attention to me. The greetings before breakfast were so sincere and kind. And the birthday cake delivered to our room was an absolute tasty surprise. You touched my soul. Thank you!
