Everything was perfect, starting with the welcome gift and the note received at the arrival and ending with the fact that we were allowed to leave the car in the parking after check out. Small details that show the host's consideration and always make a difference. The appartment was spotless and it felt exactly like a home to us.

Objekat TURIM Santa Maria Hotel, koji je smešten u Funšalu, na 9 min. Turim has incredibly comfortable rooms, nice beds, nice balconies, a wonderful pool and rooftop bay (Marco is the best!) and a huge and delicious breakfast. We loved Funchal and this hotel was a perfect home base for Madeira.

Overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, Casa das Proteas is located at Estrada das Covas nº8, São Jorge, Madeira Island, 50 km from Funchal. The location is excellent as a starting point for several hikes. Owner is very nice and she cooks very well! Breakfast was good and the room was clean and comfy! We had a nice ocean view!

Perched on a cliff facing the Atlantic Ocean, this design hotel is within a renovated traditional farmhouse. Great location, great breakfast, friendly staff

The newly renovated 4-star Hotel Baía Azul is ideally situated a 4-minute walk from Funchal’s beachfront. Great hotel near the sea... it's very big with different things to do there .. it has a few restaurants, a great outdoor swimming pool, great views from the main restaurant where I had my breakfast.. you could see the sunrise and the sea.. it's really really nice. Rooms were big and clean , bathroom was great as well. Room service was top notch , each day there were leaving extra snacks/fruits in my room, they were very attentive, the hotel is a bit expensive but it's worth it, you can't go wrong with it.

The seafront 4-star hotel Aqua Natura Bay in Madeira features an indoor and outdoor swimming pool, a Turkish bath, a sauna and a hot tub. A gym is also available, as well as an on-site diving centre. Really tastefully decorated room, nice and spacious, bathroom too, thoroughly cleaned every day. Very friendly welcoming staff. Beautiful rooftop pool area, relatively small but somehow not crowded, perfect for relaxing. Overall, a very pleasant seaside hotel.
