The rooms were nice and spacious. Everything was clean. The lounge area is nice and relaxed. The breakfast was good.

Set 2.2 km from Göranssons Arena, Home Hotel Smedjan in Sandviken features a pool with a temperature of around 28 degrees Celsius, fitness centre and a sauna. Free WiFi is at guests' disposal. The cozy hotel was very nicely put together. The interior was modern but also classical and the Spa zone was amazing with a Sauna and a small pool! The breakfast was great and the free Fika (Coffee and small sweet treats) was also very nice. We booked our stay with an included dinner which was also very good - nothing to fancy or complicated but very good and simple and freshly made. The staff really took care of everything. You really felt at home. The entire hotel is accessible for people with disabilities and has elevators and enough room for everything. Towels for swimming/Sauna are provided in the Spa Zone, and a cozy big bathrobe was prepared in the rooms. Hairdryer was available and our room did not lack any luxury. For this price a definite thumbs up from me. I can recommend a nice relax stay for a weekend and I will come back again if the chance arises.

El Högbo Brukshotell & Spa está situado en una antigua zona de hierro, en la localidad de Högbo, a 700 metros del club de golf de Högbo. Hay WiFi gratuita. Es un sitio fantastico, lejos del mundanal ruido, en medio del bosque y cerca del lago. Por supuesto necesitas vehículo. Nuestras habitaciones estaban en las cabañas, a 500 metros del edificio principal. Las cabañas Incluyen taquillas para el material deportivo. Está todo previsto. Las cabañas están perfectamente aisladas. La decoración es preciosa teniendo en cuenta que son cabañas. El desayuno es muy variado y buenísimo. Tiene una pequeña zona para los gluten free. En el edificio principal hay unas salas de trabajo fabulosas, más grandes y más pequeñas. Te dan hasta ganas de trabajar. El mismo recinto te ofrece la posibilidad de dar buenos paseos y ver animales. Y los alrededores son todos bonitos. La verdad, es que no nos esperabamos esta sorpresa de las cabañas, ... pero merece la pena, y no nos defraudó. Los chavales disfrutaron mucho.

Set next to the river Gavleån and Motorway E4, this hotel provides free Wi-Fi and free access to gym, sauna and indoor pool. Central Gävle is 5 minutes' drive away. Given this hotel mostly targets road travellers, it's close to the highway, the on-site parking lot is very spacious and free, the restaurant is open until late, and as we were leaving very early they took care and prepared a small breakfast with cold cuts, yoghurts, and coffee for us.
