We cannot say enough wonderful things about our stay! From the moment we arrived, our hosts went above and beyond to make our experience seamless and stress-free. They kindly picked us up from the airport, saving us the hassle of arranging transportation, and their warm and welcoming demeanor instantly made us feel at home. The brand new room was immaculate. The next morning, we were treated to a stunning breakfast spread that was both delicious and beautifully presented—everything from fresh fruits and homemade bread. It was the perfect start to the day. After breakfast, Udo was happy to take us to the pier to catch our ferry (for a small fee). Their kindness, attention to detail, and generosity made this stay unforgettable. If you’re looking for a place with exceptional hospitality, a comfortable stay, and an amazing breakfast, this is it. Highly recommended!

There is always a risk of returning to a great place that the place doesn't seem so great the second time around, but the opposite applies to The Reef Resort! We felt even more welcomed and had got even more out of our time on Koh Kradan now when we "came back". Genta and Jack have such an impressive quality of remembering which guests like what even after hosting them once for 1-2 days. Also with other staff members, we noticed how much they paid attention to our likes and dislikes, trying to anticipate our needs and give us the greatest experience possible. We also were impressed by almost all staff members from the year before still being at The Reef Resort which speaks for nearly no turnover. It is really a matter of personal taste: we liked the setup where there is no big noisy entertainment program in the evening, just a round bar in the middle of the resort where everyone is welcome to have a drink, or have a chat, or play a round in a board game. If you travel alone, and wish for some socialisation, this is a perfect setup for engaging with other people without a big effort. The location is (literally) a stone-throw from the reef and the basically the hotel is standing on the beach. There are a few places around that Genta recommends at the check-in (e.g. the best pizza on the island is next door), but the variety of (primarily) Thai dishes at the resort restaurant is so big that this time around we really stayed close "to home" and went all in on seafood and Thai dishes, and not even once was there anything missing in the food we ate. Pad Thai at The Reef Resort remains my personal definition of a great Pad Thai. Just like last time we visited, it was a great value for the price considering the climate around the hotel (it is an island with humid climate), the availability of hotels on Koh Kradan (there are not many), and the fact that everything needs to be brought in by boat.

It's a great resort, beautiful beaches and pristine sand around the whole resort. Staff very helpful and caring, good value for money, breakfast is fantastic and a good kitchen sums it up to be one of the best resorts i have visited.

Close to Trang you can find this absolute lovely homestay. It offers three double bed guestrooms, a nice pool and a beautiful surrounding to stay and relax. The location is built and cared for with a lot of dedication you can see all over the place. Lek and Ralf - the owners - took warmly care of us as their guests. They had great recommendations for us what to do and what to see in the area and supported us in booking things if that was necessary. And Trang offers a lot without being as touristic as Krabi! E.g. Yao Beach Kantang which is just a 15min drive away and not crowded at all. Since Lek as a Thai speaks Thai that became especially handy when we booked a boat for a day trip of island hopping. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and every day home made by Lek. One evening we had barbecue together and Ralf took care of the grill. Thanks a lot to both of them for having us! It was a pleasure. So if you are looking for a comfortable stay in Thailand abroad the touristic hotspots we can warmly recommend Bo Pla Homestay!

Cleanliness and friendliness of staff. Experiencing the mangrove eco-system, walking on shallow-water to the islands nearby, sunset view, the breakfast and dinner, and local life.

Incredible view! Very nice hosts. There was some unforseen construction work necessary with the pool, but they made a lot of effort to make our stay very comfortable.

Tasty breakfast, nice big and clean rooms. Very nice bathroom with a view outside. Friendly stuff. Nice view to the sea. 15 min walk from Charlie beach where you can swim. Very nice swimming pool with wonderful sea view. They do laundry for good price and the motorbike we rented was very new and in good quality.

Very clean, quiet, relaxing. Small but nice pool in a shadow!
