Second time staying here. It’s the best place of many that I’ve stayed at in Prince Albert. Everything is so comfortable, so well thought out, beautifully furnished and just lovely to spend time in. From the very beginning, Julia was absolutely an incredible host🥰. She was so hospitable and friendly, providing us with every bit of information we could possibly need before we even arrived. Her helpfulness made the planning process completely stress-free. One of the best surprises was the convenience upon arrival. We were able to purchase everything for a perfect dinner right at their on-site shop. They have a fantastic selection of: • Braai packs (perfect for a traditional South African fire) • Savory pies • Drinks, including a great selection of wines and soft drinks. The chalets are simply heavenly. They feel incredibly premium, offering a level of comfort that exceeded our expectations. Whether you are planning a family getaway or a trip with a group of friends, the layout and "nice" touches make it feel like a high-end retreat. A true highlight was the "mini safari" at sunset. Getting to see the animals as the sun went down was a beautiful, unexpected experience that added to the exotic feel of the lodge. Whether you are looking for a great stopover on your way to Cape Town or Johannesburg, or a destination in its own right, I cannot recommend this lodge enough.
