This was a peaceful and secure place to stopover as we didn't want to drive all the way back to Joburg before our departing flight. Huge room, huge and lovely bathroom with shower and giant clawfoot tub, large and well maintained yard. We are birders and enjoyed seeing all of the birds coming and going from the birdbaths and mature trees in the backyard. There were even some Hadada Ibis nesting in one of the trees.

Staff were delightful and the self checkin after 5pm utterly painless and easy with excellent comms. Delicious cooked breakfast was an unexpected bonus.

Provided the place the available next time, I'm definitely making a booking there. It was awesome and the breakfast was cherry on top
