Czech RepublicThe staff were very nice, friendly and flexible, most of the people we interacted with spoke English. Arriving late wasn't a problem, getting dinner after usual kitchen closing time (6pm already) wasn't a problem. We got access to a nice sauna just for ourselves at no extra charge. The breakfast was excellent.

Could walk to a restaurant nearby. We were only there for one night. Beds were comfortable; bathroom had a great shower. Breakfast had lots of choices. We wanted to go see the Lipizzaner horses in Piber and this was a convenient location to stay at.

I confess that I didn't take the time to read up on the background of the hotel as I normally do so our timing was out of sinc for the museum hours (included in the cost of the stay :-)) We genuinely were focused on St. Barbara's magnificent choir's 35 year celebration❤️; Hundredwasser's amazing, beloved 😍 church and yard gates' design, its art and positive inclusive energy 🙏❤️... We also enjoyed the atmosphere, food, music and dance with the townspeople of Barnbach ❤️at their annual International Friendship Folk Festival❤️!!! Visiting here reveals a hidden gem of ❤️Austria❤️ with an artistic current edge that is attractive!! Thank you, Glashuette for making us comfortable, cool, and well fed, indeed, with your lavish breakfast and lovely 🌹❤️🌹 ladies in preparation and presentation who greeted us cheerfully each respective morning :-)) At first the austerity of the glass-factory and checking in without a soul in sight was a little cold and futuristic only dealing with a machine; however, it was efficient and the room was excellent, and the airy spaces overlooking the museum shop were open to explore with art displayed and guest coffee and snacks gave us a good feeling. The breakfast with two charming human beings confirmed our stay fully charged for a truly splendid "Oh, Happy Day" at St. Barbara's💒🎵🎶 Many thanks to Everyone!!

I loved the breakfast buffet and the thermal bath connected to the Hotel. I much appreciated a washer and dryer at the hotel to do my laundry since I could only take limited luggage from California. This is not typical for Austrian hotels. I also appreciated how quiet it was in the area of my room. The breakfast time and dinner time was even changed to accomodate the f1 schedule. Great food, very comfortable rooms, and a very quiet beautiful area. I visited during a special event (Austrian MotoGP race) so price was probably more than usual and terms were non-cancellable. Not much to do here, most stores have shut down (about half was empty/closed) and there is only 1 Italian restaurant open in the evening. We drove around for other restaurants without success. Some places said they were open online but we ended up in front of a closed door. We were disappointed in the options for eating here and honestly the town seems at it's end. We stayed for 3 days to attend the Grand Prix at Spielberg. It was about an hour's drive to the circuit on a picturesque route (via Reichenfels). The property owner advised against the direct route north to Zeltweg via a mountain pass. We did not spend much time in the local area but the scenery was very picturesque and the look & feel of the house is very authentic rural Styria. No internet available means you feel truly isolated. Nice place for skiing with family - blue, red and black slopes. Not many visitors in the first week of March, sometimes I was alone on the hill. Well prepared slopes every day (lifts operate from 9am till 4pm). Small huts, where you can eat (soups, sausages, strudel,...) and drink (beer, tea, hot chocolate,...), while sitting outside enjoying the nature.
