The added bonus is they had vouchers for a free caipirinha with their recommendations too 🙌 the room was really great, super comfortable beds and very spacious. All the facilities were top notch. The breakfast was also extensive. Fantastic, safe location.

This is a good resort for families with a lot of animations during the day. The pool area is fairly large, but not really good for adult swimmers. The nearby beach is very nice but it is part of a "windy surfer area" and they come really close by at the beach, so swimming becomes dangerous. The food was different every day based on different countries and their food. Plenty of food with a fairly good quality, but nothing extraordinary. The rooms are nice and large enough, bathrooms clean and large mirrors.

We ended up staying at wellness, which I would think is more or less the same as the suites. Everything there was great! The staff was nice, the room was clean and nicely decorated with comfortable beds. The food was delicious! Every meal in the buffet was really well cooked. The dessert buffet is a reason enough to visit, it’s beyond delicious. There are plenty of pools and things to do for the whole family with close access to the beach and the beach park. We’ll definitely be back!

This is a wonderful hotel. The service is exceptional. The room we had was spacious, comfortable and quiet. The beach, the pool, the lounge all work together seamlessly. I highly recommend staying here.

Absolutely safe place to walk around.
Excellent destination for windsurf and Wingfoil.
best place to access the beach and leave your equipment @ticowindjeri they have the best service in town, 2 rescue boats, beach boys that help you getting in and out of the water.

Prea is a small fishing village in the north west of Brazil that is slowly transforming in to a hip, shabby chic kitesurfing capital. There is no shortage of wind here. Kite schools are abundant and the constant wind means it's the perfect place to learn. There are plenty of places to stay from budget all the way up to the high end with sea views and swimming pools. Prea has attracted people from all over the world and has an international feel. There are also plenty of restaurants and cool bars to choose from. Love Prea !

It is picturesque little town with a quite some attractions for the tourists. Nice, lively downtown with good selection of bars and restaurants. Very good food, and nice vibes.
The place to see is the beach with its red cliffs. Right on the outskirts of the town, easily accessible, with several beach bars, white sand, wind and waves.

Icaraí is a perfect location for a stop when you travel the coast kitesufing downwind.
Depending how long you want to travel downwind each day, you may arrive from Guajiru or from Lagoinha or from Taíba...
And you may leave from Icaraí to downwind to Ilha do Guajirú or to Arpoeiras or directly to Preá. Or to Guriú if you prefer to skip Preá.

Fleicheiras was the last stay amongst 7 we did along the Nordeste coast, with main purpose of kitesurfing. Compared to other villages like Jeri, Barra Grande or Atins, this place looks clearly more mainstream. Plays in the same category as Cumbuco or Paracuru regarding the general atmosphere, quite calm. Further West, Icarai is a more pleasant village, but the spots near Fleicheras, Emboaca and Guajiru, are better for kitesurfing. A lot of new accommodations are currently built along the sea between Flecheiras and Guajiru, which suggests some development of tourism for this village in coming years.

This is my second time in Fortaleza, I really enjoy the city...
This is my second time in Fortaleza, I really enjoy the city, the people are friendly and I feel safe travelling alone. I got around the city using Uber which was very reliable. I really enjoyed walking along the beach front and shopping at the street market. I went on tours to four major beaches which were fantastic.

It is a nice place for surfing and partying.
However it is in most aspects very expensive (there are many similar places around that are cheaper).
Even the city itself charges for everything (parking, tourist tax), I would not have been surprised to have to pay to use the loo. In general I had the feeling there is a gold rush attitude but the service provided in return is insufficient. (Bad value for money).
However this is not true for all places, there were some pretty nice restaurants.
Probably not the best place for relaxed beach vacation.
