“We had such a wonderful stay! The hotel is truly dog-friendly, which made traveling with our dogs stress-free. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Our room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable, with easy access to outdoor areas for walks. Service throughout our stay was excellent—friendly, attentive, and professional. It’s rare to find a place that balances great hospitality with pet-friendly accommodations, but this hotel does it perfectly. We traveled with a big group with pets. The hotel also has coffee machine and water dispenser which is very handy. We’ll definitely be returning!”

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room, was large, I had the king suite with a living room that had a pull out couch. Originally I was supposed to travel with my family and if I did it would have been perfect.

    The Inner Harbor was beautiful.

The Inner Harbor was beautiful. The Snowbirds did a show when I was there. The harbor was lively and fun. The hiking in the area was awesome. Nanaimo is easy to navigate with a car. Great halfway stop between Victoria and Tofino.

We were there for the last 3 days of the beach festival.

We were there for the last 3 days of the beach festival. The sand sculptures, illuminated at night, were amazing (in the true meaning of the word) in their artistry and creativity. The beaches, parks and old growth trees were a delight to see. There are several excellent and unique restaurants. This town is perfect for a romantic couple's break or for a family with children. A suggestion for the City Council: Provide a small, free, illustrated map of the city with various attractions and the unique places to eat, visit and play.0 Tony Keble.

Very nice, even during the winter months if you are okay with cooler temperatures, grey skies and rainy weather. The beach and town areas are clean. Various wildlife and sea life can be viewed with binoculars with lots of trails and points of interest being nearby or a short drive away. Qualicum area is nice to visit during the winter as the shoulder season is not busy with tourists.

    The space was great.

The space was great. Sat on the couch and could see the ocean view. I easily walked around the neighbourhood. There is a marina within walking distance with a restaurant and coffee shop. Very lovely but was closed during my stay. Ate at Qualicum Beach Cafe. Great happy hour menu and also at The BeachClub Resort in Parksville. You do need a car. Lots of hiking, biking, walking, kayaking and beaches.

Nice town. Good things to do in the area. Cowichen River float, Parksville mini golf, cycling the adjacent islands. Druggies and street people/beggars. Sirens all night. Car alarms. Shouting at night. Traffic even during the week at off peak hours.

Such a quiet and quaint little town by the ocean.

Such a quiet and quaint little town by the ocean. If you want a relaxing vacation away from the hustle and bustle of city life Parksville is the perfect destination. Chameleons is one of our favorite restaurants and the Stonewater Spa at the Beach Club Resort is wonderful. SOS Thrift Store is great if you're into thrifting and finding great deals.

This is a nice village that still has a small town feel. Lots of retirees. A nice local market that runs year round. Beautiful views out to the ocean. Great walking town, as the road is not steep up to the actual town from the beach.

Stayed here coming back from Tofino to catch the Nanaimo ferry the next day. Fabulous hosts, great views over the Bay from the hillside, easy access, spacious property, immaculately clean, peace and quiet, yet close to town. Certainly a place I will will come back to soon. I rate it five stars. At the Provincial Park in nearby Parkville, I saw 12 orcas right off the beach.

I l lived in Nanaimo for 20 years and was thier for business reasons. The motel had no facilities to make coffee or tea or any drawers to put clothes in. Management even locked me out of my room even though it was pre payed. Management needs to have training in work properly for customers.
