I have been in many places and i have to say that this one will always gonna be one of my favorites! The rooms might not look fancy but once you arrive there you realize that you're not really going to spend much time inside except for when you go to sleep. Most of the time we spent there we were laying on the sunbeds drinking amazing piña coladas prepared by the lady the runs everything, Luz. She will help you out with everything that you might need! She runs the place honestly and carefully with attention to every single detail and she will go on and beyond to satisfy every request that you might have. On the beach there's a lot of vendors that will try to sell you things and sometimes thay can be pushy and when that happens there will be Pacho ready to send them away so that you can enjoy your stay as comfortably as possible. There's food options as well, nothing fancy considering that you're on a desolated beach where options are limited but one thing is sure, there's always drinks available! Overall this place is amazing and instead of 2 days we ended up spending more than a week. When we come back to Cartagena again this place is gonna be first on our bucket list! Thank you for everything and see you soon!

This is such a wonderful hotel with amazing welcoming and helpful staff and wonderful food. It is such a stunning part of the world and Sabai absolutely showcases the splendors of the beach and jungle. Everything we needed we got, including a trip to the National Aviary which was magnificent. Everyone at Sabai was fantastic, helpful, bright and warm, and the property was just beautiful. The food was especially excellent.

A great place to explore the Rosario Islands. The food is amazing, the staff is very friendly, always available to help and make you feel comfortable and relaxed. I would recommend the spa. It is small but the massages were really relaxing

You can’t beat the price & the beach is beautiful.

You can’t beat the price & the beach is beautiful. The people were great & friendly. However I would bring mosquito spray & ear plugs bc if you get the room next to a generator it will drive you crazy. The best room is with the balcony so you could enjoy the sound of the waves & beautiful view, it’s definitely worth the extra money. Food & drinks were good. Take the taxi & boat suggested.

White sand beaches and gorgeous water!

White sand beaches and gorgeous water! Able to walk around at night. Sometimes the music at the bars got very noisy - espeically since it went on past 10. So relaxing! Take a trip to the Rosario Islands - snorkel, see the tiny aquarium. Bring a book and hang out in the sun!

Baru is not a lonely remote place where you will enjoy peace...

Baru is not a lonely remote place where you will enjoy peace and quiet. Hotels and lodges are literally next to each other. There are many people. When swimming, be careful of boats and jet skis that drive here and there very close to the shore. But the sun and the sea make all that unimportant. There are also various excursion options.

The staff, location and room were excellent.

The staff, location and room were excellent. Staff went out of the way to help and guide. We booked a car through the hotel for pickup and drop off to Cartagena and the car service (Carlos the driver was awesome and very helpful and punctual). We had a medical emergency and the staff were super helpful to guide and help arrange transportation to the nearest city. Highly recommend. Water pressure at the hotel at times can be an issue (beyond the control of the property), which is to be expected. The staff informed us of low water pressure times and were very helpful in providing a bucket to store water for shower if needed during low pressure times.

Wow this location is AMAZING.

Wow this location is AMAZING. Truly it was a private beach all to ourselves… only one other couple there on our first night. The property only has 4 rooms total so you’re never going to have a bunch of people there. The staff were SO accommodating and patient with our lack of ability to speak Spanish. We only speak English, staff only spoke English but they always used translation making it very easy to communicate! I saw other reviews complaining about the food being overpriced and no hot water for the shower which seems silly to me after now experiencing how remote this place is! It was my toddlers first travel experience, and I was SO happy with the comfort Carey House offered. Is it a luxury hotel, no. But does it have everything you need on a remote beach location with PERFECT Carribean swimming and the best staff ever? Yes. We will be coming back!

great little hotels and restaurants in the area but too many hawkers selling you stuff. Be careful with your personal items. Bring your own towels. Sunset beach restaurant had nice cabana types to relax and consume.
