It's a basic hotel, but... : big rooms, they have warm showers (exceptional in Colombia) and an excellent breakfast 🥞. Very helpful staff. This hotel is really offering excellent facilities for a very reasonable price 😃. I can recommend this hotel without any hesitation.

Great breakfast, friendly staff who went out of their way to be helpful and accommodate what we needed. Everywhere was really clean. Its a new hotel with a great feel to it.

Well even though there are no A/Cs in the room...I asked for the biggest fan they got, they accommodated...so if anyone suffers from hot rooms like me...please ask for a big fan...other than that everything was great 👍🏼

Great stay at Hotel Santa Marta in Popayán. The location is fantastic — right in the historic centre and close to restaurants, cafés and main sights. Comfortable rooms, friendly staff and a calm atmosphere. Thank you Carlos and Julian. Would definitely stay here again.

We took the bus from Armenia to San Agustin and wanted to stay one night in Popayan to break up the journey. This hotel is perfectly located close to the bus station. It is a ten minute walk to the historical centre and we walked both ways in the day and at night and felt safe. Popayan is worth a stop. We enjoyed our stay very much and felt very welcome. We also got a wonderful breakfast in the morning which was included in the stay. The room was modern and very comfortable.

The staff was very helpful and attentive. The lady who works there, helped me with a lot. The hotel is what you pay for, but it will give you a good night's sleep and it is very close to the city center.

The location for the meals, starting with breakfast is beautiful, in the corridors or a large, inner patio (around which the 10 rooms of the Hotel are located). The breakfast was very nicely served and the staff was very felixible with our dietary needs. Wewere very pleasantly surprised with the beauty of the place. There is a great walk through the large food garden, a forested area, and of course the coffee tree area. The place was quiet but we met one of the owners and the staff plus some guests, a very nice experience overall. (We learned quite a bit about coffee and its processing).
