Clean hostel with beautiful views and a nice social atmosphere. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Jefer was super helpful in arranging a late-night airport pickup (11 pm) and offering us a very affordable upgrade to a private room after our long journey. Highly recommended.

This hotel is everything you need! They had thought of everything, from providing filtered water, to providing housekeeping daily. The rooms are super modern and the bed and pillow were very comfortable. I really enjoyed my stay here. Also, the hotel is smack bang in the centre of Salento surrounded by lots of cafes and great restaurants. Everything was about. 5 minute walk max! I felt very safe and comfortable here - highly recommend.

Beautiful hotel, perfectly central to everything! We loved our stay here, everything is super clean, beautiful views from our double balcony, the staff are so friendly and they gave us information about tours in the area. They have tea and coffee available 24/7 and also laundry facilities which only took 2 hours! We would stay here again if in Salento!

Beautiful family hotel with 16 rooms in the outskirts of Filandia, 4 blocks from the town square. The most fantastic view of the valleys below and surrounded with flowers and birds. The property is quite new, spotlessly clean and the most adorable hosts in Jair and his wife who will do anything to make you feel welcome and at home.Secured Parkingspace if you have a car. All rooms come with a view. Comfortable bed, hot water in shower, nice breakfast and wonderful coffee. Good value accommodation in a really nice village- Filandia. Truly recommended.

This is easily one of the most beautiful places I have stayed at. The cabin is on a top of a hill with 360 degree amazing views. You are surrounded with trees that are full of humming birds. The cabin is so beautifully and artistically done. I would highly recommend this to everyone.

A wonderful place to relax, recharge, and explore nature.

A wonderful place to relax, recharge, and explore nature. It’s easy to arrange a horseback ride, book an Uber to Salento directly from the property, and enjoy a variety of great food options nearby. Some of you may be hesitant to visit due to the recent earthquake. However, this region depends heavily on tourism, and local communities truly appreciate visitors, especially during challenging times like these. If Pereira (PEI) Airport is closed, Armenia Airport (AXM) is also a convenient alternative.

Armenia is a nice place to visit.

Armenia is a nice place to visit. I came here from Bogota and the slower pace was very nice. There is much more sunshine and the warmer days made my skin happy. I loved Bogota and there are certainly similarities between the cities. It is just that Armenia has more of a small town feel to it compared to the chaos of Bogota.

Filandia is a very nice town, with attractive architecture, good restaurants, and good people. Among the good restaurants, we liked "Casa /bohio Taino" and "Elena Adentro" an amazing place to eat and have good drinks.

Most importantly clean, and felt safe with my family. The hotel was beautiful and affordable. The staff was great, and helpful. The only cons were the air conditioning didn’t work while we were there, which is common, and the menu would have gotten old if our stay was longer, but still delicious. The bar and bar staff were great as well. I’d definitely recommend it if you’re planning a trip to this area.

We went for the lights on December 7th, 2025, and it was a great experience! The town came alive for the event and was absolutely packed. I would recommend that if you go for this particular event, "Las Lucecitas", I highly recommend you park your car outside the town on the road leading out towards your hotel. We spent over an hour trying to get out of the little town in a car. A motorcycle is a viable alternative if you can.

The town is not ready to take any type of tourists. No decent restaurants, no heath facility, many places don’t take US dollars neither credit cards. No bank facilities during the weekends. No tourist attractions, dirt on the street many unpaved roads. Lack of sidewalks, no rental car services.

What we appreciated most was how they handled any...

What we appreciated most was how they handled any shortcomings. The hotel is only about a 5-minute walk from the main square, and although they don't have on-site parking, they kindly arranged a space for us at a nearby parking lot. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with anything we needed. Breakfast wasn't included in our stay, but the apartment had more than enough utensils and equipment to prepare a proper breakfast. They also have an agreement with Beta Town Restaurante, which offers a 10% discount on breakfast if you show your Villa Salento key. Overall, a great experience. The team does an excellent job of making sure guests have everything they need, and those thoughtful touches really made a difference.

Filandia is a charming town that is not to be missed!

Filandia is a charming town that is not to be missed! More people head to Salento (which we stopped at on our way to the Cocora Valley), but Filandia is the clear winner. Even smaller and more charming, with a luscious park in the square and beautifully decorated streets. I would have stayed 3 nights instead of 2.

This is an area that is absolutely beautiful to explore.

This is an area that is absolutely beautiful to explore. If you are to stay in this location be prepared to bring your own food for making meals. We errored in not thinking ahead and the distance to a grocery store is long with curvy roads. If you have entomophobia this is not the place to be. We saw some marvelous butterflies, and huge roaches and even had an Aguti in the backyard. Our family enjoyed the warm weather, swam in the pool, and had a very enjoyable vacation. Within an hour's ride, there is an amusement park, zoo, and next door an interactive ranch with shows, and animals to interact with.
