This hotel is everything you need! They had thought of everything, from providing filtered water, to providing housekeeping daily. The rooms are super modern and the bed and pillow were very comfortable. I really enjoyed my stay here. Also, the hotel is smack bang in the centre of Salento surrounded by lots of cafes and great restaurants. Everything was about. 5 minute walk max! I felt very safe and comfortable here - highly recommend.

Beautiful family hotel with 16 rooms in the outskirts of Filandia, 4 blocks from the town square. The most fantastic view of the valleys below and surrounded with flowers and birds. The property is quite new, spotlessly clean and the most adorable hosts in Jair and his wife who will do anything to make you feel welcome and at home.Secured Parkingspace if you have a car. All rooms come with a view. Comfortable bed, hot water in shower, nice breakfast and wonderful coffee. Good value accommodation in a really nice village- Filandia. Truly recommended.

The space is beautiful, it felt like a retreat! The staff were so friendly, attentive, and helpful. The prices were also very reasonable, even for extra add-ons like the spa and special dinners. We had a car, so accessing the property was not a problem. It is also very close to the Cocora Valley, which is one of the most beautiful places in Colombia. Our only regret was that we didn't stay longer, but we will certainly be back!

Well located and close to all the parks in the region. All inclusive resort. Good for families and big parties. Good food, specially breakfast and the buffet dinner option. Free selected drinks. Great hotel to visit Salento, and to go to the Cocora vallee for hiking! The hotel is nice, clean and the bed are big! There is a restaurant in the rooftop of the hotel were we had breakfast! Few minutes from the main square and bars or restaurants! Would definitely recommend!

Salento is a very beautiful town, the weather is just...

Salento is a very beautiful town, the weather is just perfect and the food is super tasty. Super close to Valle del Cócora, which is a very nice plan (hiking, pictures, nature) I was able to only try few spots, but I can recommend “merezzco” a desert store with very, VERY delicious options. Coffee is super good, and the staff is super friendly and welcoming, too. The restaurant which is next to “balcones del ayer” hotel, is just perfect, good prices. Traditional food, also burgers. Breakfast in here are top notch. Highly recommended if you want to enjoy food in the place.

Most importantly clean, and felt safe with my family. The hotel was beautiful and affordable. The staff was great, and helpful. The only cons were the air conditioning didn’t work while we were there, which is common, and the menu would have gotten old if our stay was longer, but still delicious. The bar and bar staff were great as well. I’d definitely recommend it if you’re planning a trip to this area.

Filandia is a very nice town, with attractive architecture, good restaurants, and good people. Among the good restaurants, we liked "Casa /bohio Taino" and "Elena Adentro" an amazing place to eat and have good drinks.

We went for the lights on December 7th, 2025, and it was a great experience! The town came alive for the event and was absolutely packed. I would recommend that if you go for this particular event, "Las Lucecitas", I highly recommend you park your car outside the town on the road leading out towards your hotel. We spent over an hour trying to get out of the little town in a car. A motorcycle is a viable alternative if you can.

The town is not ready to take any type of tourists. No decent restaurants, no heath facility, many places don’t take US dollars neither credit cards. No bank facilities during the weekends. No tourist attractions, dirt on the street many unpaved roads. Lack of sidewalks, no rental car services.

Colourful and quant colonial architecture in a beautiful mountain landscape. Felt safe walking around alone in the evenings. Very hilly so not ideal if you are not very mobile. Great variety of restaurants and cafes to choose from. Many shops selling handicrafts and souvenirs. Visits to coffee farms and other tours such as valley hikes/bird watching were easily bookable without much notice at the main square kiosk and offices round town. I used these local firms rather than online agents: they are quite a lot cheaper and the locals get more of the money. Weather is very changeable so take rain gear and sunscreen. And shoes you can walk in on uneven terrain.

Perfect city to stay that are close to parks and cities of Salento and Filandia. I recommend, if you don't have a car, to stay at avenida Bolivar region, it has lots of options of things to do and it save a lot transportation time.

Filandia is a charming town that is not to be missed!

Filandia is a charming town that is not to be missed! More people head to Salento (which we stopped at on our way to the Cocora Valley), but Filandia is the clear winner. Even smaller and more charming, with a luscious park in the square and beautifully decorated streets. I would have stayed 3 nights instead of 2.

This is an area that is absolutely beautiful to explore.

This is an area that is absolutely beautiful to explore. If you are to stay in this location be prepared to bring your own food for making meals. We errored in not thinking ahead and the distance to a grocery store is long with curvy roads. If you have entomophobia this is not the place to be. We saw some marvelous butterflies, and huge roaches and even had an Aguti in the backyard. Our family enjoyed the warm weather, swam in the pool, and had a very enjoyable vacation. Within an hour's ride, there is an amusement park, zoo, and next door an interactive ranch with shows, and animals to interact with.
