The facilities are excellent, well-maintained, and very inviting. The restaurant deserves special praise as well—the food was absolutely delicious and prepared to a high standard. What stood out the most, however, was the outstanding treatment and professionalism of the staff. Every service was delivered in the best possible way, with warmth, care, and attention to detail. A special thank you to our waiter, Mr. Brian, whose excellent professionalism was matched by his wonderful sense of humor. He made every dining experience even more enjoyable. We would also like to mention Sally, who served breakfast in the canteen and was exceptionally kind, pleasant, and welcoming each morning. We highly recommend Friheden to anyone seeking relaxation, beautiful nature, warm hospitality, and an authentic taste of Danish charm.

We stayed in the round hut, which was super cute. Just enough place for sleeping and storing the belongings. Atmosphere in the hut location very tranquil and nice, outdoor kitchen, grill, sauna and seating available next to the hut. Camping facilities very clean, common bathrooms and fully equipped kitchen is near by. Overall location of camping is great - on the seaside, close to walking trails in the forest.

Spacious, clean and well equipped appartment. Very well equipped kitchenette. Marvellous sea view from the balcony. Silence. Nature around. Fantastic location in the northern part of Bornholm. Very close to Hammeren/Hammerknuden with its beautiful walking paths. We have really enjoyed our stay there. Thank you!

Spacious room in the middle of the nature. Swimming pool and sauna for use. Beach with white sand near the hotel is perfect. And what we really appreciate is the attitude toward people and the claim for support of refugees is something exeptional and very positive.

We spent only little time in Nexø.

We spent only little time in Nexø. We wanted to visit Christiansø and Gudhjem with its arts museums. However, we found a good restaurant in Nexø, namely Selvhenter. The food was delicious and the staff very friendly and helpful..

Gudhjem is a lovely place to visit and stay.

Gudhjem is a lovely place to visit and stay. We stayed there nights and wanted to stay longer. Kids were very happy with the Halloween arrangements specially straw labyrinth. Ice cream from Gudhjem Is and Kjærstrup chocolade was exceptional. Seafood from Gudhjem Røgeri was delicious.

A quaint town with a lively beach, clear shallow waters suitable for SUP, surfing and swimming, esp. if you're a beginner. A bird reservation nearby and a wild, rocky shore, peaceful and almost empty even in high season.

Ronne is a lovely town.

Ronne is a lovely town. Accommodation was a problem due to the upcoming festival. We drove the island and found many picturesque villages and towns. Found people very polite and helpful. Griffon Spa Hotel was lovely and the staff exceptional - thank you.

Allinge is a gem of a town, historic and welcoming to...

Allinge is a gem of a town, historic and welcoming to tourists but not touristy. Beach, harbor, free parking near the harbor, reasonably priced restaurants and it’s close to Hammershus castle and the nature areas in North Bornholm.

Nekso is a sleepy little town.

Nekso is a sleepy little town. There is a sand sculpture exhibition, which is awesome. Loads of little shops with pottery and clothing and a few second-hand shops. We also found a nice cafe with super food. Very enjoyable visit.

Great town, it is pretty much seen in a single day.

Great town, it is pretty much seen in a single day. I recommend the restaurant “spektakel” who makes delicious burgers (meat and vegetarian). And if you are into long walks, the path to hellifdomsklipperne is great.

Ronne is a very beautiful old town, situated by the harbour...

Ronne is a very beautiful old town, situated by the harbour and having all the facilities (shops, restaurants, etc.) you would expect. There are buses that take you to the rest of Bornholm island from Ronne, and the island is very well worth exploring. There is a fantastic fortress at Hammerhus, beautiful walks along the cliffs, old churches, especially the one at Osterlars, windmills.
