The lady at reception was extremely helpful and kind. I was late checking in as I was on the Camino and she came back to open for me at a later point. She explained everything in detail and even offered to help bring my bag over! The place itself is very modern, and super comfortable. There’s cooking facilities with a fully equity kitchen. Would stay here again for sure.

We stayed in The Albatros while walking the Camino. The hotel is situated in the village. It is a lovely place to stay and it was so clean. Our room was perfect for one night. At night there was no street traffic to be heard. This hotel is very well looked after and extremely clean. Our breakfast was lovely, and the staff were so friendly also. I would recommend this hotel.

beautiful house, comfy beds, fantastic breakfast, lovely owner.
if you do you camino, part of steep hill is behind you once you reach this hotel (its on the hill and camino continues right next to the hotel).

A good buffet breakfast was provided for €8 each. We had supper in the dining room and drinks in the bar. The hotel appears to be the most popular place in town. Everything was just great.

The area is nice with an excellent and popular gastrobar...
The area is nice with an excellent and popular gastrobar across from the hotel. The stretch between the hotel and the bridge is quite run down with derelict houses - much as it was when I last visited in 2014. However there’s a nice park and kids playground there and of course the magnificent beach a few minutes walk away.
