This isn't a hotel to stop at on the way, it is out of the way, but that is what makes it so special. The accomadations are simple but well maintained and clean. The house and public areas are full of collectables and presented with love. A feast for the eyes. The view onto the Duoro and wine mountains is simply spectacular. My husband was under the weather so we did not have the chance to explore the area but felt quite comfortable being lazy around the pool area for the day. The dinners and breakfasts were home made, delicious and were very inexpensive. The local wine was also offered at a very fair price. So glad we went out of the way to find this place.

Nice room with balconi and view from there. I liked that room had heating I could even regulate because it was chilly in spring evening. Bed was comfortable, room clean, shower was good, didn’t hear any noise from street or from other rooms. Breakfast was nice, common areas very cozy, stuff nice. Parking in front of hotel. All good, we enjoyed our stay.

Safe Motorbike parking, the owner Lolly and Jose are exceptional hosts and made you feel they welcomed you as friends to their home.perfect home cooking, making sure to arrange a vegetarian meal and absolutely superb Valle Duero wines….
The Senda del Duero was wonderful and perfect running terrain, walking if you prefer.

We loved upper terrace with the view - it is quite dark and one can sit on a sofa and watch the stars at night. The swimming pool is great, little but very blue, surrounded by grapes, mint, rosemary ans basil, fantastic for all the senses. The house is very specious and interesting, nice to be in and observe.

Izabela, the owner, greeted us with genuine warmth and kindness, creating a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. The restaurant and food were excellent, the décor unique and tasteful, and the view from the outdoor terrace absolutely breathtaking.

Our host, Santi, was friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was substantial and our room clean and comfortable. The hotel is centrally located, with the town square and restaurants nearby. Free street parking is also closeby.

It's a perfect location for hiking and walking in the Arribes del Duero.
The offer of bars and restaurants was a bit limited, but our visit was not in the high tourist season, so that might have been the reason.
