Super clean, great location for the town, comfy bed, shutters blacked out room, powerful shower, easy parking ... and the breakfasts were outstanding, jugs of fresh juice, fresh croissants, omelette or eggs, choice of dairy free milks, fresh fruit, and proper coffee! We don't eat meat and they immediately swapped out cold cuts for more cheese and remembered every subsequent morning. Lovely people running the place, with some English if you don't speak a lot of Spanish.. A fantastic find!

It was a stay in a beautiful building located in the new town side of the Albarracin area. The staff were very polite and communicated thoroughly, making my stay very pleasant. The guest room was clean, and the bathroom was spacious enough. The common area had a kettle, tea bags, and coffee available, which guests could freely enjoy on the terrace. The breakfast was particularly noteworthy. I had a wonderful breakfast at a reasonable price. If I have the chance to visit Alvalade again, I will definitely stay here again.

There were lots of bars and restaurants in the busier, more touristy part of Teruel but it was difficult to find one less touristy, although it was a Friday night and a popular time to go out.
The mudejar architecture is outstanding and the aqueduct was also very interesting.

We came here for the eclipse but this town is well worth a trip in its own right. So interesting medieval town, city wall and river buried deep in the mountains. The history of this town is fascinating. Also the surroundings are very beautiful. I have never been to this part of Spain before but I can highly recommend it!

Gorgeous, well-preserved hillside town worth exploring. So few tourists, we couldn't believe it! We explored the castle and cathedral and were the only people there most of the time! Plenty of historical places, surrounding towns to visit, not to mention the natural beauty and outdoor adventure.

We researched the place. The castle is worth a visit. The church is wonderful, but listen for the bells if you want to visit. They will ring on a long oral if there is going to be a service. A trip around the nearby towns through the wonderful countryside is recommended.

The Parrizal is an amazing route to walk. It Is up to you how fast or how slow you wanna go. It took us 4 hours back and forth. If you want to enjoy the landscape you need to stop. the place is amazing. The road to get there is a bit dangerous since it is a narrow trail, with double traffic directions. You must take the tickets online and parking is free with the ticket. $8 a person and $10 on weekends.

This motel is well located when driving from France to South East Spain. It is very good value for money but the decor is a little tired in places. It is however very clean and just the job for a one night stop. Make sure you exit the motorway at junction 89. The menue del dia has four choices pf starter, main and dessert - incredible value!

Interesting small town. Good range of bars and restaurants. The Mudejar design from moorish era very striking.
One point I would make that if travelling without a car I would avoid staying in the Parador as there are very few taxis in Teruel and the walk is partly along a very busy road. Also to travel to Zaragoza or Valencia the trains are being replaced by buses for at least the next few months.

The town can be over full in August so try to plan for earlier or later in the year. The walks are still delightful in August and not too busy.
It is probably best to shop in Valderrobres before you get to Beceite or bring food or pre book restaurants.
