Hotel was lovely. Receptionists were very helpful. Bedroom comfortable after requesting a walk in shower was greeted with an upgrade to a bath shower which we did not want. Eventually we were given a disabled shower. A shame not more people there would definitely recommend 🥰

From the moment we arrived at Torre Marqués, we knew we were in for a truly special experience. Nestled in a stunning, tranquil setting, this hotel exceeded all our expectations in every way. The spa was absolutely superb—beautifully designed, peaceful, and the perfect place to unwind. Every detail was carefully thought out, from the ambiance to the high-quality treatments, leaving us completely rejuvenated. The food was exceptional, each meal felt like a culinary journey, with flavors that were both refined and comforting. The attention to detail and presentation made dining here an experience in itself. What truly set Torre Marqués apart, however, was the impeccable service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was unforgettable. The thoughtful touches—such as a room upgrade and a bottle of champagne—made us feel incredibly welcome and valued. If you’re looking for a luxurious escape with world-class service, exquisite dining, and a spa that will leave you feeling refreshed, Torre Marqués is the perfect choice. We can’t wait to return!

This is one of the best places we’ve stayed at in Spain. We truly fell in love with this hotel. Everything felt so cozy, calm, and genuine — no unnecessary luxury, just a place made with heart. The room felt like visiting your grandmother’s home in the best possible way: warm, simple, and very comfortable. Check-in was smooth and easy. Check-out as well. We did have a small issue with the payment — it turned out that the card hadn’t been charged at the time of check-out, so it took a bit of time to sort it out. But in the end everything was resolved спокойно and without stress. Special thanks to the hosts for their attitude, the atmosphere, and that unique feeling that makes you want to come back again.

The hotel is located in the central square of Cretas in the old section of the town, a unique setting. The room was super comfortable and clean. The front desk staff are incredibly helpful and pleasant. We appreciated the extra effort that was made by the staff. Our bicycles were stored in a safe place. The breakfast was ok.

Parador de Alcaniz is a beautiful place to stay. It has lovely views across the city and a great garden to sit and relax in. The friendly staff is always around to see to your every need. We had a lovely dinner in the hotel. Walking around the city is challenging, as it involves a steep and arduous walk to and from the Parador. It was hot and uncomfortable.

There were lots of bars and restaurants in the busier, more touristy part of Teruel but it was difficult to find one less touristy, although it was a Friday night and a popular time to go out. The mudejar architecture is outstanding and the aqueduct was also very interesting.

Albarracín is a beautiful and historic small city set in the glorious landcsape of the Montes Universales, that is popular with Spanish tourists and consequently has a lively centre with many bars and restaurants. The centre is pedestrianised with a complicated geography on various levels, so if planning a visit, check that the location of your hotel and where you can park a car meet your needs.

Gorgeous, well-preserved hillside town worth exploring. So few tourists, we couldn't believe it! We explored the castle and cathedral and were the only people there most of the time! Plenty of historical places, surrounding towns to visit, not to mention the natural beauty and outdoor adventure.

Alcañiz is a very interesting town with some buildings from the 14th century. There are also historic sites around the area. It has a number of restaurants offering a choice of somewhere to eat. There are other shops such as jewelers and supermarkets. There is a useful and helpful Tourist Information office, and another which can book tours. There is also a river which winds around the town.

We researched the place. The castle is worth a visit. The church is wonderful, but listen for the bells if you want to visit. They will ring on a long oral if there is going to be a service. A trip around the nearby towns through the wonderful countryside is recommended.

The Parrizal is an amazing route to walk. It Is up to you how fast or how slow you wanna go. It took us 4 hours back and forth. If you want to enjoy the landscape you need to stop. the place is amazing. The road to get there is a bit dangerous since it is a narrow trail, with double traffic directions. You must take the tickets online and parking is free with the ticket. $8 a person and $10 on weekends.

Interesting small town. Good range of bars and restaurants. The Mudejar design from moorish era very striking. One point I would make that if travelling without a car I would avoid staying in the Parador as there are very few taxis in Teruel and the walk is partly along a very busy road. Also to travel to Zaragoza or Valencia the trains are being replaced by buses for at least the next few months.

The town can be over full in August so try to plan for earlier or later in the year. The walks are still delightful in August and not too busy. It is probably best to shop in Valderrobres before you get to Beceite or bring food or pre book restaurants. Wonderful landscapes and memories to be made here.
