The room was clean and the staff were friendly. It was situated on the main road so it was easy to get a tuk tuk and get to town.

The whole hotel team is exceptionally friendly and welcoming, making you feel like family and all go out of their way to make your stay perfect. Got invited twice for breakfast and dinner by the owner, Ephrem took me on a for-free tour and dinner and is a great, very knowledgeable tour guide that always offered to help and the rest of the staff was also extremely friendly in responding to any request- I travel a lot, but the service level and effort was truly outstading! The hotel is also well located, with beautiful views from the upper floors/balconies. I was also very happy with the room, nice bed, good, warm shower and good internet. Very good value for money and truly exceptional due to the family-feeling atmosphere! Will definitely stay here again next time and would recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Axum :)
