Why no solar panels?
Wonderful to see hippos in the lake
Horrible plastic pollution all over the town and on the lake shores. Perhaps Haille could organise the towns children to do a sponsored plastic pickup otherwise the birds and fish will die
Really impressed with the staff - welomce staff even run local charitable programa

Roads are a mess and there is no information about what is going on in Awassa festivals sightseeing hippo reserve or just nice hikes or walks nearby a basic guided city walk would be a good start for westerners
