we were treated really well from the moment of pick up at the airport rivht up to our departure. our bedroom wa supgraded and was spacious, modern, clean and with ample amenities. the owner was on hand and readily avaulable. The brekfasts were excellent and best omelletes in the world!

It way my first trip to Addis, where I discovered amazing people, always smiling to anyone. Lobelia hotel team was extremely kind and helpful. Room service and restaurant was excellent. The best part is that the hotel provides a tour guide; Mr. "Fish". What an amazing person, kind and very helpful. Clean, good location, nice staff. Good customer service,room cleaning everyday. Breakfast was good. Good variety of food, waiters service excellent. Shuttle service very quickly. I forgot my suite case at the Airport and Driver help me a lot to pickup then I forget my backpack during departure, I called the hotel and Driver brought it back to me @the Airport right away. I will recommend this to my friends and social media contacts.

Addis Ababa is a beautiful city with fresh, clean air, friendly people, and many remarkable historical sites spread across the city that can be visited at affordable rates. Transportation is also convenient, with many taxis and public transport options that are relatively inexpensive. The food is both affordable and very tasty, with a wide variety to choose from. However, for visitors who do not read Amharic, it may be challenging to navigate and communicate with some locals who have limited English proficiency. In such cases, having an English-speaking guide can be very helpful.

I have been thoroughly impressed with it so far.

I have been thoroughly impressed with it so far. Located a little southwest of Addis Ababa, the area is incredibly safe and well-maintained. The transportation is also convenient, with easy access to public transit and major roads. Overall, I'm very happy with my decision to stay here during my visit and would highly recommend this neighbourhood to others.

The city is getting more beautiful every time I visit.

The city is getting more beautiful every time I visit. The more developed areas are clean and well kept. The new parks, such as friendship park are just spectacular, also the new fountains with light and music show behind the Ghion hotel. The restaurants are overall really good, I would recommend Hotto and Marcus Addis for an upscale experience. It is safe to walk at night. Went to a jazz show at Fendika at the Hyatt hotel, Mondays they have an ethiojazz band and I walked back without any issues at midnight.

Addis Ababa is full of surprises: you can walk around the modern Addis and feel like you're in Europe - except in January it's sunny and warm. The new river walks are lovely and will be even better once coffee shops open along the river. Taxis are plentiful and cheap- we downloaded the Ride app which made it feel secure! We didn't use them much, preferring to walk Addis Or you can go off the main streets and wander through 'traditional' Addis with it's small shops, plentiful coffee shops, piles of fresh fruit and veg. The markets are amazing. During our stay there was a lot of building work going on - demolition and building. They're rebuilding the city so there is also sadness in the air as people are displaced and moved to the condominiums outside the city. I think I only felt this because I grew up around here. I absolutely loved exploring. We spent a lot of time in the little, traditional coffee shops watching, listening and chatting. For Europeans - Addis life is very cheap - we like the local food and often had ingera 3 times a day! I can't wait to go back
