I stayed at this new hotel in Addis during a recent work trip, and it far exceeded my expectations. I originally chose it based on just one previous review, and I’m so glad I did. Every word of praise was absolutely true. The owner of the hotel is a true gentleman who personally ensured I was comfortable throughout my stay. He even arranged a free airport pick-up and drop-pff (though I didn’t need the drop-off as a friend collected me) and allowed a late check-out at no extra charge. Small gestures that made a big difference. The entire team, from the reception staff to the waiters and housekeeping, were exceptionally kind and professional. Their warmth and attentiveness made me feel completely at home. The hotel itself is spotless, the wi-fi is strong, and the food is delicious. The rooftop seating area offers a beautiful view of the city. What truly amazed me was the value for money. For such excellent service, comfort, and hospitality, the price is unbelievably reasonable. You get far more than you pay for here. I strongly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again whenever I’m in Addis Ababa.

Probably one of the most accomodating places i have srayed with! The staff is exceptional and absolutely amazing! They are super friendly and trying their best to make the stay as comfortable as possible! The put a big effort and even care about small details e.g. the housekeeping lady would still stock up my water even though i didnt need cleaning that day. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The airport shuttle is very reliable. Overall a very pleasant experience and I will definitely come back!

Human size hotel with nice and reactive staff. My room was big and clean. I also had a kitchen. The free on demand airport shuttle was very convenient and fast . The hotel is both downtown and conveniently located close to the airport. Buffet breakfast was varied but could be more tasty.

The rooms are really cute and clean. Staff are super friendly and attentive. I felt sick before taking a local guided tour outside Addis, so when my guide arrived, the front desk made sure he is aware of my condition. I’ve been to many countries before and stayed mostly 4-5 star hotels, but service at Best Western exceeded my expectations. Additionally, the rooms are sizable and comfortable. Highly recommended!

The cleanliness was impeccable; my room was refreshed daily and always felt spotless. Breakfast was excellent in terms of variety and very filling. The staff was exceptionally polite, helpful, and always welcoming. The massage service was outstanding and a perfect way to unwind after a long week. The hotel’s location was ideal—well known by everyone, making it incredibly easy to get around by taxi. Having an airport transfer service was a huge convenience for us, especially since we arrived late and departed late as well.

The overall is awesome ! Fantastic location nearby the Friendship mall and market. Cozy enviornmant. Staff are so friendly. When i arrived (early in the morning) they gave me a room - I didn't wait till check in time. They offered me a pack of coffee .. in the breakfast, the staff deal with my picky food style with a big smile in their mouths. In addition to the free pick up to the airport included in the offer. a wonderful experience.

I have been thoroughly impressed with it so far.

I have been thoroughly impressed with it so far. Located a little southwest of Addis Ababa, the area is incredibly safe and well-maintained. The transportation is also convenient, with easy access to public transit and major roads. Overall, I'm very happy with my decision to stay here during my visit and would highly recommend this neighbourhood to others.

This is best visited with a guide . Our guide took us to Signum Vitae ... a non-governmental organization dedicated to rehabilitating and improving the lives of disabled people . It is wonderful to see how they make eye-glasses in the facility they have . We also visited the Sabahar fabric workshop ... in a great , peaceful location with lots of trees and flowers . They make [ and sell ] gorgeous things from hand-woven and hand-dyed materials. We visited " Lucy " in the National Museum , and saw the palatial residence of Ethiopia's former emperor Heile Selassie in the Ethnological Museum . The coffee in Ethiopia is excellent !

Be prepared for lots of holes in the sidewalks , and people begging/soliciting . We always felt slightly uneasy when going for a walk , and the many construction sites have you walking in the street with seemingly inconsiderate drivers . We spent more time in the hotel because walking around wasn't enjoyable .
