A Land Of Limestone And Turquoise
Situated in a south-east part of France, the Gorges du Verdon region offers easy access to the French Riviera, as well as some jewels of its own. Its biggest, the Verdon Gorge, is a real natural wonder and one of Europe’s most mesmerising river canyons.
There you can enjoy climbing large limestone walls, some of which reach 700 metres high allowing you to admire the stunning, turquoise-coloured waters of the River Verdon below.
