Built by a visionary architect in 1925, Portmeirion Village & Castell Deudraeth overlooks the beautiful Dywryd Estaury. We were attending the two day Prog Festival in Pwllheli so we booked to stay at Portmeirion, we booked one of the village rooms. From the moment we arrived we were made welcome. Check in was easy, we were given information about eating/restaurants and we were shown to our room by Nigel who helped us with our bags. We stayed in Bridge House 2 (come in No.2) this was beautiful, very spacious, and exceptionally clean. Lots of lights, wonderful L'Occiane toiletries in the bathroom, large soft bath towels (not the postage stamps one often gets) bathrobes, slippers, the walk in wardrobe was lit so you could see. Our room had a small well equipped area with sink, fridge, tea/coffee biscuits. Red and white wine (to buy if you wished) there was a sherry (complimentary) decanter and glasses all of which was filled up each day. We over looked the sea/estuary absolutely beautiful, two comfy chairs and table for relaxing. The bed was comfy and warm. This place is stunning. Breakfast was wondeful, cereal, fresh fruit, berries, yoghurt wondeful juices. and a breakfast cooked to order. We ate in the fine dining restaurant, this is a must should you stay here, this was a flavour sensation on the palate. This place is exceptional and I would urge anyone to stay here, so much so we have booked to stay over there at New Year
Talardy Hotel by Marston’s Inns offers attractive en suite accommodations in St Asaph, North Wales. Pleasant staff. Very accommodating.
Located within Snowdonia National Park, Aberdunant Hall Country Hotel is a 17th-century property set within 200-acres of woodland on an beautiful upmarket Holiday Home Park. Overall this was a wonderful hotel as a location for our hikes to Snowden, Yr Eifl, Tryfan, and all the lakes. Coming back after a day of hiking to a beer and the restaurant was a real joy. Ours was a great five-night stay. The hotel has a cozy, intimate feel, well appointed, with large well stocked Welsh/English breakfasts (including eggs to your order) and very tasty dinners. Our room, the king spa, was spacious with good circulation, views, a spa bath and shower. The staff (especially George, Kelie, Lois and others) are all very friendly and helpful. Service has been wonderful. They even let me print out a 12-page hiking guide from the internet for free. The free parking seems plentiful and the setting is out of the way but close to the hikes. The bar area was a lot of fun, especially on Friday evening with a live singer who played electric guitar. Otherwise the place was quiet. Near by , Beddeglert is worth checking out… quaint village with a wood shop full of carved dragons like the one in the hotel lobby matching the Welch flag.

Located in Llanbedr, Hafan Artro offers accommodations with a garden. This hotel offers free WiFi. Free private parking is available on site. Every single staff member was charismatic and friendly. The rooms were clean and homey. The breakfast was absolutely wonderful and cooked perfectly! And the pub food was as well, everything was cooked with thought and love behind it, you really feel welcomed here. We brought our dog with us, and they were accommodating to him as well. Also there is a garden out back, which is always nice to not walk far to take the dogs out for a wee. My husband and I are already planning when we can go next time!

Our hostess Linda was amazing. She welcomed us with open arms and cheeky banter after a long journey from London. Her recommendations for the area were spot on and breakfast was a delight. We reserved three rooms for our extended family and the accommodations were comfy, clean, and cheerful. As new visitors to North Wales, we all simply fell in love with Llandudno, Conwy Castle, and Gwydir Castle in Llanrwst. We will definitely go back some day and would most certainly book at Milverton House again.

Delicious English (or should I say Welsh!) breakfast with quality ingredients. Warm hosts made the stay like a home from home and they are very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. I've holidayed in Criccieth for years and this part of town is, in my view, the best location and is great for visiting all around Snowdonia and North Wales. There is no parking dedicated to the hotel but we did not have any problem parking outside even in mid-August.
The cottage was wonderfully cozy, warm, and comfortable. Great kitchen and a lovely, warm fireplace. It's everything you could want in a vacation home. Hosts were lovely and left us some Welsh cakes and sweets for the kids and milk in the fridge for tea and coffee. There was an abundance of movies and games and a fantastic mountain view from the window. It was very near Snowdon Mountain, Caefernon, and other spots to see in North Wales.

The location is ideal. 300 yards to pedestrian gate in the wall. Tesco less than 2 miles. Lots of storage. Nice shower. Beautiful garden. Hosts gave wonderful directions for a day drive that provided a good overview of North Wales. Encouraged our visit to Bodnant Gardens, where they volunteer. Better than advertised. Also had restaurant recommendations and made reservations for our choices.

It was awesome. We loved the breakfast, and the location. Adam and Tracy are a delight to talk to and made us feel so welcome. This is definitely a 10. North Wales is beautiful too. This was a great place to experience it. We liked that the restaurants and convenience store were within walking distance, as well as the beach, and Harlech Castle.

We chose the hotel for the excellent location. It was not far too travel to all the places of interest in North Wales. There was little or no traffic noise from the road, so we slept well. Breakfast was good, and the service excellent. There was adequate parking for all the guests, and the walk into town was easy. We would stay there again.
