Church Stretton is a picture perfect Shropshire town surrounded by hills so ideal for walkers. Victoria House is a charming Victorian property in the heart of town overlooking the hotel gardens, blossom trees and the church. Diane and her team made me feel as if I’d come home for the weekend. My room was like something out of Disney’s Bedknobs and Broomsticks. It is called The Snug and would be great for a single traveller or a couple. The furniture is antique, there is a flacon of sherry on the desk and the cooked breakfast was top class.

This was our second stay at Wenlock studios. This time we stayed in Walton apartment. The plus side is that Walton has a parking space right outside the front door. The facilities are excellent, spotless and well thought out, the property is warm and cozy, the bed was very comfortable. Wenlock studios are a mini home from home. Much Wenlock is a fabulous base to travel and see beautiful Shropshire. I highly recommend staying in one of these apartments.

the restaurant food were excellent, the staff could have done with some 'customer service training' The one member of your staff who went above and beyond was 'Katlin' this lady in our opinion made our stay enjoyable, getting our room changed after the disgusting mould growing in the shower (photos sent to Shropshire health agency } Thank you Katlin who changed our room ,and really looked after us during our stay

As we were there to walk the Shropshire Hills, the location was good for exploring the area and was a few minutes walk to local amenities. The apartment was lovely with a kitchenette, large bathroom with both bath and shower. Everything you could possibly need was provided and it was immaculate. The breakfast choice was amazing, with a very accommodating and attentive host.

The central location of the hotel/pub was excellent. The Shropshire Suite was tucked away in a nice quiet area and even had its own courtyard table and chairs, which were nice for an evening drink. The room was spacious and the breakfast was delicious. The staff were on hand throughout the stay and were incredibly polite and approachable.

Located in the heart of Church Stretton, the Bucks Head Hotel manages to pack a lot of rural charm into a relatively small building. The new owners of the hotel have taken great strides to improve it since they took over management from the previous proprietor. Overall, a great place to stay if you’re looking to explore the Shropshire area.

Mynd Hotel was outstanding. The room we had was lovely. Staff were brilliant. So enjoyed the breakfast. The hotel is so well situated, public houses just down the road, where the food is outstanding. The area of Shropshire hills beautiful, the views are great. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back. Pam and Jon

The Talbot Hotel is Historic family run hotel in a quiet village set amidst the Shropshire hills. The atmosphere is very friendly and bed very comfortable.The cooked breakfast was great and they got us oat milk specially. This was Very good value and we enjoyed our stay. We hope to return again on another visit.

Great location in Shrewsbury, allowing for easy travel to many parts of Shropshire and North Wales. Also close to Birmingham and other Midlands cities and towns. Well appointed one bedroom apartment, with large living and diy room, large bathroom and comfortable bedroom.

Great location in Church Stretton; easy access to shops and pubs. The rail station was a five minute walk from the accommodation. The apartment is quiet and spacious. Overall, it was a great place for us to stay for a week while we explored Shropshire and Wales.

The Staff were exceptionally pleasant. The breakfast was really good and the the amount served was spot on. Dinner and the carvery really lived up to its reputation. Our room was bright and airy with a view looking across the Shropshire countryside.

Beautiful old building with nice gardens in a very convenient location for getting around Shropshire. Staff very friendly, helpful and didn't rush us over meals. Menus for both dinner and breakfast were good and the food was excellent.

It was nice to have a full kitchen for cooking after a month of travelling. The apartment is clean and cute and the bed is comfortable. Its a short walk to a large grocery store and the must see Shropshire Discovery Center.

Ideal location for our visit to nearby David Austin roses, and nearby Shropshire . It was a very cold weekend, but our room was warm and comfortable. Easy to park at the hotel. Dinner and breakfast good.

Proximity to my trip to good road network for travel in Shropshire and Wrexham. Comfortable bed and spacious room. Underfloor heating in bathroom . A basic, clean hotel room.

Great location for exploring Ludlow and the Shropshire Way. Apartment was fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. Host was very welcoming and informative.

Wonderfully quirky and characterful hotel in the beautiful Shropshire country town of Bishops Castle. Staff were helpful and friendly and breakfast was delicious.

Probably the best valve a hotel in Shropshire, and I've stayed at many. The food was excellent too. The accommodation was and is always clean and modern.

Spa The Waterside breakfast is really nice, lots of options and the Shropshire fry up was fabulous and restaurant very clean.
