How can I describe this amazing place??? The view was to die for, the room was cozy, warm and had everything we needed, the wifi super strong. Breakfast was rich and tasty, the dinners were delicious, probably the best food we had in Georgia! Ok, those things are to be expected...What is not expected and came as a big surprise, is the warmth of the hosts, the friendly chats around the fire at night, the laughs after all thoise treats of chacha! Dear Tsodne and Georgi, thank you so much for everything! You made us feel like family! You are always welcome in our home, if you ever decide to visit! And we are sure to come back! Stavros and Rosa

I liked everything! An exceptionally peaceful location only 5min drive from city centre, a view from my balcony to die for and the staff made me feel extremely welcome! Everyone I have interacted with (Lasha, Ada, Julia) welcomed me and made me feel like a family member. I had issues using UK bank cards to top up Georgian sim on the Georgian app, Lasha topped it up for me and refused to take money for it . He said "a gift from the hotel". I ordered lunch, I got desert on the house. I was the only guest that night between 2 big group bookings and they made bbq just for me. I asked where can I buy Svaneti salt and in minutes I got a few packets "a gift from the hotel"... In the morning the home made breakfast that awaited me could have easily fed an entire family. Julia and Ada sat with me during the breakfast and we had such an enjoyable conversation. I was made to take some food for the road. We exchanged numbers and I already know that I will be back, next time - for longer. I had such a welcoming and enjoyable stay, the hospitality of this family had no limits. Thank you so much for everything!!!

This is a very good value hotel, which is primarily used for tour groups. The hotel is only ten minutes walk from the centre. We had a room on the third floor overlooking the mountains which was very good. The room is a good size and the twin beds were surprisingly, extremely comfortable. Simple breakfast but adequate. WiFi in our room was very weak, however in the reception area there is a strong signal. Outside the front of the hotel in the garden, there is a very good covered terrace area with plenty tables and chairs. The manager was very pleasant and helpful with any requests. Overall great value.

We had the most wonderful stay in this cozy little mountain Hotel. The staff is adorable and always quick to help with any issue. It is clean but very cozy. The food is delicious and the best we ate the whole time we have been to Georgia. And the best asset of the hotel is the person who runs it! I am sure you will fall in love with her as much as we did. She is a wonderful and sweet Person and one of the reasons we stayed much longer than originally planned!

A really wonderful hotel in the middle of nature, in a quiet valley that offers amazing walks and scenery. Very well equipped rooms with feather blankets and beautiful views. Friendly staff, even a guest library, a lot of information about the area! Stayed for two nights after the mestia-ushguli hike, just to stay a bit more in the mountains. A unique and exceptional place, highly recommended!

Great view from the room over some ruins and an old monastery. I used the roof top bar which has an amazing 360 view of the town and mountains as my remote working office during the mornings as it wasn't being used, incredible view to work to. The owners were very helpful and friendly, and the breakfasts were great!

Hiker's Paradise. Come prepared for hiking. Don't forget to visit Ushguli, Koruldi lakes, Adishi village. Some trails to the glaciers are difficult. Adishi trail is the best hike. Visit during summer months for perfect weather, scenic beauty and natural wonders.

We arrived at Lento Guesthouse at 17:00. The host didn't know how many guests he had for the night. We were the last to arrive, and he didn't have a suitable room for us. At the end, he found a room at the back and cleaned it for us. We were upset.

Zhabeshi is the first overnight stop on the most common route taken by hikers walking the iconic Mestia-to-Ushguli hike. (There are alternative routes that bypass Zhabeshi.) The village is located in an exquisite valley just below the confluence of the Tviberi and Tsaneri Rivers, nestled under the slopes of Tetnuldi and Banguriani peaks in the Greater Caucasus Range. If you're into mountain environments and ancient villages steeped in history, it doesn't get much better than this.

Zugdidi is an undeservedly small city.

Zugdidi is an undeservedly small city. It is cozy, beautiful, has its own history, a convenient location, and several interesting historical sites. It is also a great base for exploring the surrounding area. From here, it is easy to get to many tourist attractions, including the Enguri Dam, and even Anaklia is quite convenient to reach. There are also plenty of other towns and places worth visiting nearby. Two and a half days were enough for me to explore Zugdidi itself and take a few trips around the surrounding area. Unfortunately, there are practically no tourist companies here, so no one is likely to offer you organized excursions. But you can do what I did: call a taxi and arrange with the driver, for an additional fee, to take you around the places you want to see. I would recommend choosing a decent hotel so that you can properly rest and get a good night’s sleep. I stayed at the Astoria, which has an excellent location. You’ll be given restaurant recommendations right away — there are only about two or three really good places to choose from. The food was tasty everywhere, so I can’t single out one particular restaurant. Since the city is small and most of the main sights are concentrated in the center, I got around entirely on foot. It was pleasant to walk through the streets and pop into the local shops. There aren’t really any proper souvenir shops. However, near the entrance to the grounds of Dadiani Palace, on the left-hand side, there is a small shop selling all sorts of things where you can at least pick up a fridge magnet.

Martvili Canyon is a breathtaking natural wonder.

Martvili Canyon is a breathtaking natural wonder. Paddle through its emerald waters on a boat, gazing upwards at the towering limestone cliffs adorned with lush greenery. The tranquil silence is occasionally broken only by the melodic chirping of birds and the gentle gurgling of cascading waterfalls. For an adrenaline rush, consider the zipline that soars over the canyon, offering a truly exhilarating perspective. While it may come at a slight premium, the experience is well worth it.

Lovely small city on the Black Sea coast!

Lovely small city on the Black Sea coast! A pretty high-street and church located in the centre and a nice lighthouse on the seafront. Just south of the city is a nice beach to relax on a warm day, although there isn’t much shelter from the wind. Would recommend a short stay of a couple of days. Good connections back to Tbilisi with busses and a railway station!

Mazeri is marvelous place if you want to connect with nature. everything is authentic and not influenced by technology as it is in metropolitan areas. Air is clean and evening till morning is quiet. Godd place for hiking and camping, near by water falls and Ushba mountain has its impact on the place. I have not hiked until the Glacier however reaching waterfall area and crossing wooden bridges were thrilling enough for me. Just to highlight, as it is country side do not expect to have restaurants or Cafeteria or grocery shops. Locals with guesthouses and English language is not their preferred language. Russian language is commonly understood there. Expect simplicity and infrastructure of basic countryside with no complications. So far I had 3 visits to Mazeri, for sure I would prefer to have my own transportation to match my need and convince. If you would hire a driver there then should negotiate as prices varies and public transportation will be limited. Renting a horse is fun, if you cannot ride then can hire a guide along with the horse with extra pay. Hores rental is not expensive, during my visit about US $38 per day

It is a great spot to get to almost any place in the Svanetia. A peaceful village but at the same time touristic enough so you can come here without anything - you can buy almost everything here from food to clothes and hiking stuff. Old and new mix here: cows roaming the streets but ATMs and fast internet are standard; simple family bars and high class restaurants. You can stay here for a long time and still have places to go to.
