Amazing hotel in a excellent location (close to Senegambia strip, but separated from the touristy madness). The owner himself designed everything, from concrete to curtains, and takes special care of the guests personally (he even upgraded our room because of some mixup with the airport taxi). The style and design of the room and the whole hotel transported us back in time, however the facilities (kitchen, bathroom) were very modern and up-to-date. All the staff were very kind and helpful. 100% recommended!

I liked the staff very much. They were very warm and more than made up for inadequacies that one expects in hotels in low resource settings. The location is very close to the Atlantic ocean and the view from the balcony is stunning.
