The facility is brand new and very well equipped. Beds are soft and very comfy. We arrived late evening and were warmly welcomed by the owner. He even made us tea. He himself dropped us off at the airport, which is only 15 minutes drive from the apartment.

We like the gambia it's friendly but you need to go with open eyes it's a third world country and if you want a western style holiday maybe not for you
If you want an holiday to relax and slightly on the quiet side a laugh and joke with the locals in the the bars and restaurants it's good
The gambia is a place like marmite you will either love or hate it
