What a nice and peaceful little lodge...including one of the nicest gardens I´ve seen in The Gambia. Very friendly owner and staff, free WIFI, clean and functional rooms including AC and a small veranda in the garden. Very quite a bid away from the Gambia River. Breakfast included and other meals provided at very resonable costs. Highly recommended. Georgetown (or Janjanbureh) is a very friendly small town (more a village) where local life can be enjoyed.

This place is amazing. You can swim in the Gambia river and watch the sunset. Maxi, the host, is quick in organising (birdwatching, kajaking, etc.) and up for spontaneous trips if he has time. Even the vegetarian food is amazing that Maxi cooks himself. He also has a good sense for when to chat with you an when to give privacy. I will definitely come back!
