I had a wonderful stay at Star Lodge in Farafenni, and I can confidently say it exceeded my expectations. The structure is very beautiful, well-maintained, and exceptionally clean. The room was equipped with every comfort you could need: a ceiling fan that kept the temperature pleasant, a kettle for making tea or coffee, a refrigerator, a very comfortable sofa perfect for relaxing, and a TV with decoder offering a good selection of channels. Everything was thoughtfully arranged to make guests feel at home. The lodge is located in a quiet and peaceful area, allowing you to truly relax and enjoy the atmosphere. At the same time, it is conveniently not far from the main road and the local market, and close to small local shops. This makes it an excellent choice for anyone who wants to experience the authentic essence of The Gambia while still having comfort and tranquility. A special mention goes to the owner, Papa, who is an incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful person. He gave me many valuable suggestions about places to visit and activities to do in the area, making my stay even more enjoyable and interesting. His hospitality and genuine care for his guests truly make a difference. If I return to Farafenni, this will definitely be my first choice again. I highly recommend Star Lodge to anyone looking for comfort, cleanliness, authenticity, and warm Gambian hospitality. A truly pleasant and memorable experience!
