We had a truly wonderful stay at Veranda Blue in Poros — it exceeded all our expectations. The views from the property are absolutely stunning, especially during sunrise and sunset. It honestly feels like you're stepping into a postcard. The apartment was, spotless, and comfortable. Our hosts were incredibly kind and available. Small touches, like having ice cubes ready for those hot days, made us feel really looked after. The location is ideal, quiet, and private, yet just a short walk to the center of Poros. Do keep in mind that there are some stairs to climb, but it’s all part of the charm. We left feeling rested, inspired, and already dreaming of when we’ll be back. If you're looking for a peaceful escape with incredible views and warm Greek hospitality, Veranda Blue is the perfect spot. Thank you for an unforgettable experience!

We’ve stayed on the island of Poros at least twice before this time. The extra days, 4 nights total gave us a chance to explore some sights in Porostown. We walked up winding streets to the picturesque town clock in a tall building. Afterward we took a taxi to the charming, small monastery on the edge of town. Porostown is a manageable size offering many restaurants and tavernas. We enjoy the location for a taste of old Greece before cruising from Piraeus.

Amazing spot to just simply relax, fair prices, easy to commute or walk if you can. Very vibrant and friendly people. Good for shopping local stuff and souvenirs, it’s close to Athens and other islands. We loved the nature, history and food. I really amazed me this little island ❣️

This is a beautiful island. The sea is warm and inviting.

This is a beautiful island. The sea is warm and inviting. The beaches, although there is some sand, are very stony, and beach shoes are recommended. We went on a boat trip to navigate the island, taking a route that circled the entire island. It was a small boat and we were driving it ourselves. The day was slightly windy, and the sea we didn't realise was quite rough once you moved away from the beach. We only lasted one hour of the four-hour trip booked. It would have been better to have been warned that the sea would be rough, as we would have chosen another day for our trip. There are many boats, including sailing, charter, and private vessels, visiting Poros, making the port very busy. The boats were fascinating to watch. There are numerous excellent tavernas, and they are not expensive. They serve a variety of local dishes, including fresh seafood and traditional Greek cuisine. The boat transfer from Athens takes only one hour, and the ferry operator is very prompt. I recommend a visit to Poros.
