You will leave wishing that you could stay longer! If not because of the wonderful, peaceful location but because you would have met such kind-hearted and genuine hosts. Yianna and Dimitris are warm, generous people who take care of your every need. You could not want for more. So don't waste any more time searching for anywhere else - pack your clothes and just come! The shop run by friendly, helpful staff sell everything else that you would need. All of this and knowing that Yianna is always on hand and would be very happy to help arrange anything for you, whilst Dimitris can cook for you makes this a no brainer quick escape and a home away from home! It will be bliss if I ever get the chance to do that myself one day....take off with very little to worry about and leave the rest to just being there, embracing the inspiring company and soaking up all that Poros has to offer. Thank you for everything Yianna and Dimitris. I didn't know that money spent on a holiday could be so beautifully rewarding until we met you. I cannot express how grateful l am. We wish you Well and all the Best! Jo and the boys!

The view from Golden View is absolutely spectacular, as is the private beach. We went to a few other beaches while in Poros, and GV had the clearest water by far. The staff were all top-notch and very kind. We had a room overlooking the sea. I would ask for a sea view room in the 3rd or 4th floor. We've visited several islands with our daughter, and this was our favorite hotel pool as well. Great size, same spectacular view of the sea, full service from bar and restaurant. Regarding the restaurant, we were very impressed with the quality of food and the prices. Both were better than many places in the center of town. You could easily stay at Golden View for your entire stay and be completely satisfied! We will absolutely be back!

One of our best experiences. Clean and spacious rooms, with the most amazing view. We travel frequently bot never had such amazing view The staff was very kind and helpful. The location was great, near to restaurants and the beach, 10 min walking. There is also a boat taxi in 10 min distance from the hotel, Wich can take you to other beach or to Poros center in less than 20min.

This ultraclean modern hotel is run by a wonderful family, who were helpful in many ways! The view from our balcony was magnificent, and the Naval Cadets across the water sang the national anthem every morning at 8 am to start our day. I will return!

We’ve stayed on the island of Poros at least twice before this time. The extra days, 4 nights total gave us a chance to explore some sights in Porostown. We walked up winding streets to the picturesque town clock in a tall building. Afterward we took a taxi to the charming, small monastery on the edge of town. Porostown is a manageable size offering many restaurants and tavernas. We enjoy the location for a taste of old Greece before cruising from Piraeus.

Amazing spot to just simply relax, fair prices, easy to commute or walk if you can. Very vibrant and friendly people. Good for shopping local stuff and souvenirs, it’s close to Athens and other islands. We loved the nature, history and food. I really amazed me this little island ❣️

This is a beautiful island. The sea is warm and inviting.

This is a beautiful island. The sea is warm and inviting. The beaches, although there is some sand, are very stony, and beach shoes are recommended. We went on a boat trip to navigate the island, taking a route that circled the entire island. It was a small boat and we were driving it ourselves. The day was slightly windy, and the sea we didn't realise was quite rough once you moved away from the beach. We only lasted one hour of the four-hour trip booked. It would have been better to have been warned that the sea would be rough, as we would have chosen another day for our trip. There are many boats, including sailing, charter, and private vessels, visiting Poros, making the port very busy. The boats were fascinating to watch. There are numerous excellent tavernas, and they are not expensive. They serve a variety of local dishes, including fresh seafood and traditional Greek cuisine. The boat transfer from Athens takes only one hour, and the ferry operator is very prompt. I recommend a visit to Poros.
