She is engaged, and her enthusiasm is natural - this young woman really should work for herself when she gets the chance! (Management take note for her next raise evaluation!) The hotel is fairly priced, very clean, has sufficient storage on the room and the bathroom has a shelf to put one’s things. The shower took a while to get warm, which is standard here - but once warm, it stayed warm - and the water pressure is excellent. The courtyard is beautiful at night, with white lights illuminating the area - quite romantic. The common bathrooms were kept very clean and the staff were all very gracious, accommodating and hard working. It isn’t five star - but it has a lot going for it! I slept comfortably and love that my window opened. It is very close to the plaza, so a hop, skip and a jump to restaurants, cafes, banks, etc. Diana also gave us good recommendations for food. Big city with a lot of history, restaurants and things to do. The weather is nice during the day, but gets chilli at night and a bit cold in the mornings. A visit to the hot spings is a must, as well as Chicabal volcano. The city feels safe, and walking in the old center of town after dinner outside is nice. I specially enjoyed visiting the central plaza, Pasaje Enriquez and one of the big bakeries to have one of their famous "Shecas". and don't forget the Cabro beer!Guest review byMario EnriqueGuatemala - 10.0
