Rosa was a wonderful host and made us very welcome. When we asked for a local restaurant to eat at, she offered to cook dinner for us. She provided dinner for both the nights we were staying there. It was just like staying with family. The house was exceptionally clean, and was situated in a small village, very close to Plitvice National Park, which was only a few minutes drive away. Rosa was able to speak quite a few languages including Japanese which was a fantastic benefit for all guests staying there.

If you are looking for the real Croatian experience without compromising on cleanliness and facilities - look no further, this is where you need to go. We have spent two nights at this place, and if we could award 11 points to it, we’d do it. The lodge lies in the heart of Plitvice national park, one of the entrances to the park is just around the corner, so entering the park will be super convenient, just a 5 minute walk away. The lodge has the character of a mountain hut, the rooms are nice, clean and tastefully decorated and absolutely up to the task, there’s nothing that you are going to miss. The owner serves an absolutely delicious self-cooked Croatian style dinner and we absolutely recommend to eat at the lodge, especially in the evening. During dinner, be prepared that the owner will treat you to his self-burnt Schnaps which greatly facilitates starting a conversation with fellow travelers - in no other place in Croatia (we did a 2 week tour) did we meet so many interesting people from all over Europe and North America. As mentioned, the hosts are super friendly and authentically Croatian, it was a great couple of days and we will certainly return.

I can’t find a single thing I didn’t like. The location is dreamy, surrounded by nature, peaceful, with fresh air and the beautiful sounds of birds and crickets all around. The apartment was clean and fully equipped with everything needed. There are also two horses and a lovely dog on the property, absolutely adorable. The owner is an incredibly kind and welcoming lady. The location is also relatively close to the National Park, around 15–20 minutes away by car. Ps. As for the National Park ... a little piece of paradise.

Off season, I enjoyed the quiet and peaceful atmosphere of Camp Korana. The staff was very nice and helpful, thanks a lot! The restaurant was great, I had breakfast and dinner there several times. The best aspect was the location, just a short shuttle ride away from the park main entrance.

The lakes and waterfalls are spectacular.

The lakes and waterfalls are spectacular. The wooden walkways are tricky in places especially as there were lots of people on site mid June. The facilities at P3 were also very busy around lunchtime, and more large groups were arriving. Maybe being a Saturday was particularly busy

We stayed in Grabovac as we wanted to visit Plitvice.

We stayed in Grabovac as we wanted to visit Plitvice. We booked our tickets a day before for 7am. I'm glad we went early as from 9am the park was very busy. We used entrance 2, for a longer walk (but not the longest), it was very good until we reached entrance 1 (by small ferry) which was extremely busy. I do not recommend entrance 1 as the queue for ferry was very very long. Generally avoid busy periods if you want to enjoy nature.

You really need several days to visit what that place has to...

You really need several days to visit what that place has to offer. Don’t miss the Spelaton center and Barać caves. We been on Barac Traill race and the organizers really do the best of them. Also don’t miss the fast food in rakovica on road by the Apartment green park with delicious burgers.

This is a great place to base yourself when visiting the Plitvice NP. We only did a one night stay on transit between Zagreb and Zadar. There are lots of different sights to see, so wish we had a few days. There are caves and more waterfalls to see outside the National Park. The main township was much bigger than we expected. Amazing area. We ate at the family owned restaurant in a big orange building on the Eastern edge of Korenica, Restaurant Sapena. Fabulous grilled trout, and the best grilled meat platter ever.

The B&B Plitvica Hill was great.

The B&B Plitvica Hill was great. The owner was there to answer any questions and help you get settled in. The room are all new and very well set up. The beds were great. My wife and I would sleep to much.

Nice place to sta before or after visitin Plitvickie lakes, but to find good property for stay is very hard, good photos, but in reality not so good. checked several on the spot before stay, was disappointed on the most of them after comparing with booking. If you are planning to visit lakes my suggestion is to stay here before.

We were there in April and went just for Plitvic lakes, it was quite cold in the morning & evening, glad we had our puffer jackets. An absolute bonus was the gorgeous little village of Rastoke, stunning and the best food of our entire 2 weeks in Croatia.

This town is very close to Plitvice and a great place to stay for less money than the official Plitvice hotels. There are a couple of restaurants in town, Restoran Degenija serves delicious food, a bit upscale, though not too expensive. Most of the town is on the main road to Plitvice, so there is a lot of traffic.

I think this place for relaxing like our Carpathians in Ukraine. Calm, nature, views and just you (at least in the evening). I stayed for one night because visited Plitvice lakes. For that trip in my opinion this place not very suitable - 8km from the park. You can get there just by car or taxi. There is no public transport or I don’t know about it. Although I enjoyed my stay.

Fabulous National Park with many Waterfalls and those picture-perfect aqua marine lakes !!! Make sure to look at the weather. We had bought the tickets online in advance, but, to our dismay, it was going to be 100% rainy on that day. So, we landed at the park a day before our ticket date as it was nice and sunny. The folks at the park are not allowed to make a change to the ticket (to allow you to visit on a diffrent day/time). Luckily, one can email the support staff, and they were very responsive (by email!!!!!). When we explained our situation in the email that we'd travelled from the US with family, they were kind enough to issue new tickets, and we were able to enjoy the park. Thanks a lot, Plitvice Support Staff!!!
