Also incredibly close to the border with Croatia. If we slept in Bihać, we would have waited a loooot longer to cross the border.

If you are looking for the real Croatian experience without compromising on cleanliness and facilities - look no further, this is where you need to go. We have spent two nights at this place, and if we could award 11 points to it, we’d do it. The lodge lies in the heart of Plitvice national park, one of the entrances to the park is just around the corner, so entering the park will be super convenient, just a 5 minute walk away. The lodge has the character of a mountain hut, the rooms are nice, clean and tastefully decorated and absolutely up to the task, there’s nothing that you are going to miss. The owner serves an absolutely delicious self-cooked Croatian style dinner and we absolutely recommend to eat at the lodge, especially in the evening. During dinner, be prepared that the owner will treat you to his self-burnt Schnaps which greatly facilitates starting a conversation with fellow travelers - in no other place in Croatia (we did a 2 week tour) did we meet so many interesting people from all over Europe and North America. As mentioned, the hosts are super friendly and authentically Croatian, it was a great couple of days and we will certainly return.

I can’t find a single thing I didn’t like.
The location is dreamy, surrounded by nature, peaceful, with fresh air and the beautiful sounds of birds and crickets all around.
The apartment was clean and fully equipped with everything needed.
There are also two horses and a lovely dog on the property, absolutely adorable.
The owner is an incredibly kind and welcoming lady.
The location is also relatively close to the National Park, around 15–20 minutes away by car.
Ps. As for the National Park ... a little piece of paradise.

Amazing place, surrounded by the nature. The stuff is friendly, the rooms are big and clean.
The breakfast was also very delicious.
The location is very good. It has a big parking and a lot of activities to do.
We recommend and will return for a longer stay for sure!

The place is modern and in a beautiful calming environment surrounded by nature. There are various outdoor activities for kids and adults alike. In addition to the large pool, there's a small pool for kids. Didn't want to leave this place!

Beautiful place to visit.
Beautiful place to visit. A long walk from the parking to the entrance. Some of the signage was not clear so we didn’t really follow the path we had chosen and ended up walking farther than the map indicated. But all gorgeous and totally worth it!
We went in Entrance 2 and there are numerous opportunities for as long of a walk as you wish. It was all stunning!

We stayed in Grabovac as we wanted to visit Plitvice.
We stayed in Grabovac as we wanted to visit Plitvice. We booked our tickets a day before for 7am. I'm glad we went early as from 9am the park was very busy. We used entrance 2, for a longer walk (but not the longest), it was very good until we reached entrance 1 (by small ferry) which was extremely busy. I do not recommend entrance 1 as the queue for ferry was very very long. Generally avoid busy periods if you want to enjoy nature.

This is a great place to base yourself when visiting the Plitvice NP. We only did a one night stay on transit between Zagreb and Zadar. There are lots of different sights to see, so wish we had a few days. There are caves and more waterfalls to see outside the National Park. The main township was much bigger than we expected. Amazing area. We ate at the family owned restaurant in a big orange building on the Eastern edge of Korenica, Restaurant Sapena. Fabulous grilled trout, and the best grilled meat platter ever.

You really need several days to visit what that place has to offer. Don’t miss the Spelaton center and Barać caves. We been on Barac Traill race and the organizers really do the best of them. Also don’t miss the fast food in rakovica on road by the Apartment green park with delicious burgers.

This town is very close to Plitvice and a great place to stay for less money than the official Plitvice hotels. There are a couple of restaurants in town, Restoran Degenija serves delicious food, a bit upscale, though not too expensive. Most of the town is on the main road to Plitvice, so there is a lot of traffic.

Nice place to sta before or after visitin Plitvickie lakes, but to find good property for stay is very hard, good photos, but in reality not so good. checked several on the spot before stay, was disappointed on the most of them after comparing with booking. If you are planning to visit lakes my suggestion is to stay here before.

The location of the accommodation is just marvelous - the pure nature. Really relaxing and beautiful. We had a nice dinner (choices included meat or fish or veggie, I recommend fish!). Warm and approachable staff. Dinner was great, while you should expect that it is somewhat expensive. The (not so well documented) side-entrance to the Plitvice park is less than 10 minutes walk away. This allows for a very early entry (if you secure an early slot through online ticket sales). This is recommended, as the park gets busier later in the day.

I think this place for relaxing like our Carpathians in Ukraine. Calm, nature, views and just you (at least in the evening).
I stayed for one night because visited Plitvice lakes. For that trip in my opinion this place not very suitable - 8km from the park. You can get there just by car or taxi. There is no public transport or I don’t know about it.
Although I enjoyed my stay.

Did the 14-mile walk around the circumference of the lakes. Breathtaking, just get there early to avoid the bus lads of people that arrive at 10am!!.
Like waking around a real Avatar-inspired Pandora, but a natural phenomenon. Actually, when it gets really busy, it does take on a more Disney feel, almost being conveyor belt "pushed" along the wooden walkways. But beautiful all the same
