Alma B&B was wonderful, and the town of Alba is very charming. It is a great location for people who plan for wine tours! There are many amazing restaurants in Alba. Tajarin pasta is so delicious!Guest review byAyukoUnited States - 10.0

We ate lunch at Easy Cosi in Barolo and then dinner at UVE. Both food and wine were exceptional. The service was great and were made to feel welcome. Found a local cafe (Le Dolcette di Montini Erika) in La Morra and was greeted warmly. It may have been Erika, who served me and I returned home with Cappucinos and fresh Brioche to the delight of my family. Would highly recommend a visit and stay!Guest review byGregAustralia - 10.0
Monforte d'Alba was a dream.
Monforte d'Alba was a dream. The town was so sweet and full of incredible restaurants and such nice people. It's pretty steep so wear shoes with good soles if you plan to walk to the top of the town and see the clocktower - which is a must, the view is absolutely worth it! There's a wine shop that has all local Monforte d'Alba wines. I'm still dreaming of the macchiato and brioche con crema normale at the Grappolo d'Oro bar in the piazza. The church was beautiful too!! But really the scenery, fresh air, and countryside stole the show.Guest review byAnonymous - 6.0

Went to Bra on a hockey trip during August which is when a lot of shops and restaurants are closed so struggled to find authentic cuisine. This is not a tourist town but one of the biggest in the area. You will need a car to see more of this lovely region.Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0

Barolo is a famous and cute little italian village and the best vine on Earth (to me personally). :) We had a lovely walk around in this region with my husband on our latest visit and we loved its magical vineyard hills even more than the village itself. Because sadly the only downside (like with many similarly famous italian areas) is that it can become quiet busy and crowded with too many tourists and not so enjoyable if you prefer a more peaceful relaxing holiday like us. It is definitely worth to visit the village too, to grab an ice cream or an aperitivo but having long walks outside in its beautiful vineyard hills is a must have for a true and authentic Piemonte experience! :) It is very easy to get around in the vineyards of Barolo also by foot or by bike or scooters but would recommend to pay a visit not only in summer time but also during spring or autumn when its less crowded probably.Guest review byDenesItaly - 10.0

One of the prettiest wine villages in the Barbaresco region (although they are all quite lovely). Surrounded by vineyards and excellent high quality local restaurants in the old centre. A couple of great pizza restaurants in the main village down the hill for when you want something a bit simpler. Many local wine villages to visit by car, although it is possible to walk via the “sentieri” paths if you can find a good map (not easy!). We walked to Barbaresco which was a lovely circular walk (about an hour and a half each way with lots of stops)Guest review byPaulaUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Barbaresco is the Queen of Langhe (if the Barolo is the King). It is a must visit if you travel to Piedmont because it is embodiment of the rel values and qualities that the one would expect to find on such a travel. It is the place and the region where you can have a great wine, but also learn about many wonderful families and meet wonderful people that are producing the wines of Barbaresco. It is a place with history on each step of your way, an amazing small villages each one of it with the distinctive local history and a landscape with wonderful small castles and an endless view on the vineyars that is captivating. Plan your stay for a several days and if possible plan a day per village - it is the trully amazing experience that you will have in each one of it. Taste the wine that have been produced from the wine yard that you can see in front of you and learn about the people and places where it is produced. Highly recomended fro wine lovers, but also for a family visits.Guest review byOgnenNorth Macedonia - 8.0
Loved the location and views.
Loved the location and views. The accommodation was everything you need and well maintained. Local restaurants are walkable. A near 15 minute drive for groceries near Alba. Plenty of areas to walk with quite country lanes and vineyards.Guest review byRichardAustralia - 8.0

We came for the White Truffle Festival and stayed just one entire day (two nights). We probably could have stayed for another day, but were bouncing around to different cities in Italy. It's a small city, but still has some great gelato and food. The truffle festival is small; we spent a couple of hours there. Then we went on a truffle hunting tour. We booked a private car to take us to the woods because we did not want to rent a car (we booked through the tour company. it was pretty expensive, but cheaper than quotes we got from asking random drivers). At night there was a medieval festival, so that was fun too! If you like wine, there is definitely a lot of that as this is wine country!Guest review byrecycleorburnUnited States - 10.0
