Our stay at Lamrin Cottages in Rishikesh was an absolute delight. From the moment we arrived, Richa and her staff made us feel right at home. Their courteous and friendly demeanor truly enhanced the experience. The cottages themselves were wonderful. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. But the real highlight was the delicious food! Every meal was freshly prepared and bursting with flavor. Also, late night meals were readily accommodated by the staff. We especially enjoyed the ample veg options on the menu, including a really great paratha, fried bhindi and the powa for breakfast. A highlight was having dinner served on the terrace, which allowed us to take in the late evening views of the Ganges and the Ram Jhula bridge. The location of Lamrin Cottages was perfect. Just a short walk away from the Ganges River, it offered a peaceful escape while still being close enough to walk and take in the Ganges. Overall, Lamrin Cottages provided the perfect base for our Rishikesh adventure. We can't thank Richa and her staff enough for their hospitality. We highly recommend this place to anyone seeking a relaxing and enjoyable stay in Rishikesh!

Oef! What is not to like?! It was absolutely a fantastic stay! A very spiritual place where every staff person is very helpful and soooo nice !! Ladies Himashri and Himanshi were superrrr! The fact that there is Aarti every evening just made my day(s). The food in in the restaurant was absolutely super!! Super compliments to chef Deepak! This whole place is a next level experience if you visit Haridwar for spiritual reasons! A stay which I will not forget!

We had an amazing 3 day stay. The location is fantastic, right on the corner of two main streets but behind other buildings so it doesn't get too noisy. Everything was perfectly clean, the staff were very helpful and friendly. Bed was comfortable though a bit short. Overall definitely recommend staying here.

We had a marvelous experience staying at Rudram. One opens the morning with a free yoga class given by the manger. Then there’s a tasty breakfast at a quiet and inspiring space. The rooms are clean and have everything one may need. The staff is kind and devoted and will arrange for you any booking you may ask for. They have tips where to go to such as events, dining places, attractions etc. and they can set you up with a great local guide to thoroughly explore Rishikesh and its surrounding areas. Great location and highly recommended!

Rishikesh is a nice location embedded in hills, the views of the city from a high altitude are amazing, near rishikesh, 67kms and 2 hours away is devprayag, where two rivers merge to form river ganga. Devprayag is really beautiful, clean and amazing nature one must visit, the road trip to the location itself is mesmerizing. Be careful with the driving as it is a bit scary as next to the roads end into a ditch due to the hilly region, if u drive slow, everything should be fine.

it is a perfect choice for me with a travel of only 220 km from my place. And it suits me for 2 -3 days break from work. It's like a cascade of multiple green mountain series visible from one place. That's the reason Mussoorie is known to be Hills Queen. I love Mussoorie

It is super easy to reach from Delhi.

It is super easy to reach from Delhi. Get a train Bus or self ve hile to reach in around 5 HR. Street food like kachouri and sweets are great to enjoy.Most of the shops sell veg option. People are nice. Great for spiritual travel.Enjoy walk near ghats and Ganga Arti. Some ghats are overcrowded. Hotels near ghats are not clean fools you with more price and no facility. Street foods are good.Rishikesh is nearby don’t get in taxi trap they charge u around 1000 to 2000 . Uber 900. Rather take a bus for 80 rs or a shared Tempo for 60 rs

Hosting isn't a forte in entire uttarakhand. It's beautiful, but too many people are closed minded and unpassionate about what they do, yet charges are high across the board. So, adjust expectations beforehand.

Only khaliya top and nanda devi is a place to visit other than that there is nothing else to do, the market is small only 15-16 odd shops, place is complete off off beat. Dont expect much from home stays aswell, be it amenities, services, food taste, cleanliness. Everything is chargeable!! Even a bare minimum thing ie bonfire in a cold place like munsyari, they charge minimum 500rs for it per day. One time place to go.

Cool nice place for a quiet clean air quality and noise free stay within a green jungle area. Kulchas, Tasty Tea, Maggie, biryani, local food, FRUITS, at decent prices all over. Charm of Safari and Tiger is in air. Not too hilly to reach, like mussorie, nainital or shimla. Plain fast access but feel of a real hill station through out for kilometres.

The Janglia Gaon is a place about 10kms ahead of Bhimtal.

The Janglia Gaon is a place about 10kms ahead of Bhimtal. This place is less populated and have natural beauty. The Emerald Trail property is pet friendly with adequate facility to accommodate dogs inside the cottages. There is separate food menu for pets and human.

It is a small city at the foot of Nainital and Bhimtal.

It is a small city at the foot of Nainital and Bhimtal. I had a short layover at the hotel on my way to Binsar which is at a long distance from Delhi. Haldwani is a good city with good shopping options for all popular brands which I noticed during my stay. You have many good restaurants also. It is a good option to stay for a night at Haldwani if you want to go to Almora/Binsar from Delhi-NCR.

You have many things to explore at Lansdowne and nearby areas. I am a trek lover and bholenath bhakt so i like Bhairav garhi, Hanuman garhi, kauli Ganga, Nagdev treka and Tarkeshwar temple is the main attraction. During the treks you will experience the panoramic views of mountain including the snow peaks of Chokhamba and Trisul parvat.
