The Sunset view was amazing rooms were very spacious and food was amazing specially the sri lankan crab curry. Amazing place highly recommended......

The staff were amazing, very helpful and friendly. Always down for a chat and went above and beyond with booking taxis, giving recommendations and information. Most people staying here are very sociable and it's a great place to meet people. Everyone is very friendly. The open roof showers are very nice and the toilets are mostly clean. It's in a great location and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay as a solo backpacker!

First I was afraid to move in after all the bad reviews I was reading. When we arrived guys were just finishing the renovation and on the next morning all tables outside were freshly painted, turkis pillows on chairs on place, beautiful wooden tables on the terrace. Our room was clean, AC working, towels nicely folded in heart form. In the bath we had nice Ayurvedic shower gel and shampoo. We were surprised by delicious breakfast we could select from the menu, starting from bowls to omelette in pizza bread. Literally everything was delicious! Best thing is, they even served our breakfast at midday after we came back from our morning safari and had a nap. The stuff was nice and helpful, location is absolutely great! Close to the restaurants, directly on the beach and on the Main Street you can check loads of nice stores in the middle. I really feel sorry for the guys who visited them too early and were not satisfied with the services, but now with the start of the season in Arugam Bay this is really a nice place to stay!

The location is perfect, just a short walk to the beautiful beach. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. The owner made us feel at home and ensured we had everything we needed. The food at the restaurant was delicious with fresh local flavors. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Arugam Bay. We will definitely come back again.

I ended up extending my stay for another week and had the best time at fins. The location is perfect, both beach and main road are just a stroll away. Nevertheless you get a good rest at night as there is no outside noise. The staff is wonderful. They were always caring and helpful and even helped me book my night bus to Colombo. I recommend the dorms if you are more of a social person, they are clean, quite spacious with a nice shared bathroom.

We spent two weeks at this hotel and had a wonderful time. The room was beautiful, clean, and spacious. A special highlight is the well-maintained, stunning garden with many beautiful plants and a large pool. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Everything was perfectly organized – from surf lessons and safari trips to airport transfers and laundry service. We felt very comfortable and would come back anytime. Thank you very much!

Had a wonderful stay in Secret Gem ! The room was very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. It’s located just a short walk from the beach, which makes it perfect for anyone who wants to enjoy the ocean anytime during the day. The atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing, especially at night. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was neat, and all the basic facilities were provided. The staff was friendly and always ready to help with anything we needed. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a calm and convenient stay close to the beach in Arugam Bay. Will definitely visit again! 🌊✨

Greatest stay in Sri Lanka by a mile. 10 out of 10 is not even an exaggeration. The rooms a brand new and everything is really perfect and the host is awesome. You really get a beach and surf vibe there. The location is just a 2min scooter drive away from the middle of arugam bay. Would always come back again. But be careful if you choose this apartment because leaving it will be kind of hard.

This stay is great value for money. The property is brand new (parts still being built). Beds were comfortable and room service was provided very few days. The staff were lovely and eager to help where ever they could. The property is in a quiet part of Arugam Bay (about 15 min walk to Main Street) we didn’t mind this as we enjoyed the clam and quiet. Would highly recommend this stay!

Amazing staff, doing everything to make you feel good and keeping you satisfied. The food in the hotel is better than the food outside. The pool is a big plus and totally worth the extra money. Beautiful place and very recommended.

Rinas, the owner, is such a great and helpful person! He took care of us during our stay, helped organize trips, and fulfilled our every request. Our room was clean, the AC worked well, and hot water was always available. The beach is just a few steps from the room. Definitely the best place in Arugam! Thank you, Rinas & the Team!

We stayed at elite bay for a week and throughout the duration of our stay Haroon and the other caretakers were so accomodating and helpful. Location was great, walking distance from everything. The place is well maintained, clean and comfortable. Everyone should stay at elite bay!!!
