The location is very strategic, walking distance from the international airport and they also offered complimentary pick-up service from the airport because my arrival time is during midnight around 01:05, very considerate and helpful.

The staff was very helpful. Helping anytime . Around midnight A/C was not working in my room, I phoned the reception and within 5 mins they attended to my request and changed my room.

Owner off the property kind person, provide us with everything Staff also friendly, gave us late breakfast option. Pool and yard of the hotel is nice.

A good option to rest in Negombo after a long journey. Comfortable room and very friendly staff. Central location, close to restaurants, supermarkets, and the beach.

First place in Sri Lanka after a full day of traveling, we couldn't have wished for a better one. Check-in at 1am was no problem at all. Located literally at the beach, it was the perfect place to relax and get a first impression of Sri Lanka. Very friendly and helpful people. Somehow we managed to forget our beachwear and towels, but big thanks to the staff who were willing to send it to another hotel so we could pick it up later during our trip.

Great location if you want to stay nearby to airport. They have halal food restaurant that was something I really appreciate.

The cottages are comfortable, clean and spacious. The environment they are nested in is beautifully created. The reception was great, we checked-in late night without issues. Very hospitable and accommodating. Excellent value.

Was absolutely ideal as an arrival/departure hotel given proximity to the airport. Would be a good option for longer stay as well. Staff were excellent. Great beakfast, and onsite resteraunt/bar. Very clean.

The apartment was huge, spacious and clean. The shower was excellent also. The pool was well maintained and was perfect to relax for the last couple of days of our trip, a short 20 minute pickme to the airport. We also had a late flight, and they let us have the room until 6pm free of charge! It was great to not have to worry about our baggage and use the pool whilst able to shower afterwards before leaving. It’s in a great location to access Negombo beach with loads of restaurants, shops and bars a short walk away. Highly recommend for anyone starting off/finishing their Sri Lanka travel.

Mikayla Cove in Negombo is an excellent hotel where the facilities and rooms are exactly as advertised on Booking.com, offering great value for the price. The hotel is conveniently located just 15 minutes from the airport by taxi, with plenty of restaurants and cafés nearby. Traveling to Jaffna was very easy for me, as I was picked up and dropped off at the main road near the hotel, followed by a short walk of less than five minutes. While the location, comfort, and food were outstanding, what truly made this hotel special for me was the people. The staff constantly checked on my needs, making me feel genuinely cared for throughout my stay. The food was next level—perfectly cooked deviled prawns with even edible shells, the crunchiest and best French fries I’ve ever had, and an unforgettable Sri Lankan breakfast with authentic touches like coconut milk served with puttu.
