The property is a small, beautifully restored historic villa. This means the service is personalised, with staff very attentive to the needs of their guests. The food was absolutely outstanding and we enjoyed trying local Jaffna specialties. We also loved having a pool to cool off in at the end of a hot day exploring. There was good information provided which outlined the history of Jaffna and of the villa.

The hotel is very well designed and in calm area. You can easily get to the busy centre of Jaffna by tuktuk. The room was big and comfortable, as well as the bathroom. All very well equipped and clean. The staff is extremly kind, helpful and professional, our gratitude to their attention. The Amudham restaurant on the property provides excellent dining experience, superb traditional and modern interpretations of Sri Lankan as well as international cuisine. Highly recommended.

Absolutely loved my stay here! The staff and caretakers looked after me like I was family - particularly Robina and Spelwin. The breakfast was authentic, delicious and served with love. Staff were very accommodative of my needs and ensured to check in with me regularly. Facilities were clean and my room exceeded my expectation. Will definitely stay here next time.

Location is good. Room is very clean .my room cleaning boy (nishanth) is doing his jobb very will. Breakfast is very very good. Restaurant employees are caring us when we entered to the restaurant. We stayed there for more than a week and the rooms were very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and made us feel at home. Every morning coffee and breakfast was served on time. If we needed to go anywhere, vehicle services were arranged by manager and owner. Excellent hospitality.

This hotel is excellent value for the price. We stayed in a family room with 3 double beds. The room was large, reasonably clean with a private bathroom. The beds were very clean and comfortable. The room also had an air conditioning which some central management. There were electric sockets in the room and toilet paper in the bathroom. The location is central, convenient for the railway station. For the Internet we do not know, we better used our SIM. There’s also a ‘restaurant’ on the ground floor, the food was very good, but it took very long to come, so I’m not sure how the restaurant actually works. We enjoyed our stay here and would be happy to come back again.

Jaffna is a must visit, even if it may not be a polished...

Jaffna is a must visit, even if it may not be a polished tourist destination, like Galle. Jaffna has a unique old world charm, her strong cultural heritage is evident in the food, dress, architecture and palmyra dotted landscape. The beaches have a sleepy feel to them... nobody trying to sell you trinkets or sarongs, the Jaffna Fort is immaculate and impressive and the sunset paints the sky as you drive down the causeway to the islands. Traffic is not an issue, except around the bus stand. Sadly, most of the fantastic mango varieties that Jaffna was once famous for have disappeared, with the only survivor being the iconic Karthkolamban. In their place, we saw heaps of Rambuttan and Mangosteen from the South and Citrus from Pakistan.

Our time at Delft Beachfront Villa was amazing!

Our time at Delft Beachfront Villa was amazing! They didn't just offer us a free breakfast; they also organized a tuktuk and a knowledgeable guide so we could explore Delft island. The snorkeling they arranged was fantastic. The spot was beautiful, with clear water full of colorful fish and stunning rocks. we were mesmerized by what we saw underwater. Plus, they have bikes available for guests to explore the island on their own. If you looking for a memorable getaway with great hospitality and exciting experiences, Delft beachfront Villa is the place to go. we highly recommend it for anyone who wants a mix of relaxation and adventure!

A hidden beauty with in the Jaffna penisula.

A hidden beauty with in the Jaffna penisula. Serene Casurina beach will mesmeraize you. The Fort Hammenhiel will take you back to hsitory. The drive through will serve you with beautiful paddyfiels and palmyrah gardens. There are several beautifully built Hindu Temples.

I love Jaffna and the people.

I love Jaffna and the people. Many cultural, historical and religious places to visit. Jaffna library, Jaffna Fort, Nallur Kandasamy Temple, Naaguleswaram temple, Sakkotai Point, Karainagar, beaches etc.
