Good location , quiet and peaceful

Amazing,this place is a gem in a not so touristy area,the rooms are really nice and spotless ,great pool area and not too cold and the staff are so nice and helpful and on the ball if you need anything

In short, Just Epic in every aspect. The location and the environment is beautiful, calm and clean. There is so much to walk and explore. The villas are surrounded by nature, they are spacious, clean and very accommodating. The food is extremely good. Most importantly, the hospitality is off the charts. Overall the experience was exceptional. I recommend this place to any locals or foreigners who are looking to explore the Puttalam & Kalpitiya area. Would definitely visit this place again.

I stayed at this accommodation for two nights and really enjoyed my stay. The owner is very nice and gave me a lot of support in planning the journey to and from the hotel. He also planned the safari for me. This was a great experience as the guide had a lot of knowledge. Another highlight was the dinner. The room was perfectly fine for the two nights. The room was very clean. I can highly recommend this accommodation.

This hotel is great value for money. Nice room with amazing views, big swimming pool overlooking the beach and very good food and friendly staff. I will definitely come back in January to learn kitesurfing.

This is quite simply an exceptional hotel, made so not only by our beautiful room and the surroundings, but by Mark and the team of people who made our stay so special. This is one we will always remember for being unique and idylic. Our kayak on the lake with Ravi was fantastic and Ravi's knowledge about the wildlife was exceptional. The whole team were there at 4.30am to ensure we had everything we could possibly ask for before our early morning safari. I can not praise our stay highly enough and we would have loved to have stayed for longer. Thank you Mark and everyone who made our stay so very perfect.

Very nicely mannered staff and good and convenient room

I can highly recommend Surfpoint. We stayed there for a few days and had a fantastic time with the staff and Shan, our kite instructor. They are always happy to help, organize transportation to the airport or the lagoon, and are generally very accommodating. The price-performance ratio is very fair, and there are several restaurants within walking distance. The resort also has a fantastic view, as it is located right by the sea. The breeze keeps the place a little cooler in the blazing sun, which is great. We will definitely be back. Many thanks.

We had such a wonderful stay here! The staff were incredibly kind and helpful from start to finish. The area is so beautiful and peaceful – perfect for completely switching off and relaxing. They arranged a safari for us, which was an amazing experience, and it meant so much that they also took care of our dog while we were away. We really felt well looked after. The room was lovely, with a very comfortable bed and an incredible view. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to unwind. Highly recommended!

What an incredible stay! We loved the communal meals, and it was such a treat to have both Sri Lankan and Italian food (and drinks) — my favourite cuisines! We bonded with really interesting people from all over the world! Everything was super comfortable and relaxed, even though we didn’t kite surf we had a brilliant time and loved the morning yoga sessions. Sunsets at the jetty were super special. Grazie!

Very kind hosts and great location for a relaxing stay in Kalpitiya

Direct Beach Location with beautiful garden that provided the right amount of shadow. Sea view from all rooms. Extraordinary service: the team even organized us another room to rest until we could check in into our booked room since we arrived already early in the morning.

The place was wonderful. Close to the sea, quiet and tidy. But the main part of the experience is thanks to the amazing chef Cyril who cooked us the most delicious meals on the entire island. A man with a huge heart and golden hands.

Clean and very helpful, friendly staff . They were very appreciative of our custom as the situation in Dubai/iran has affected their trade hugely to the extent that we were their only guests !

Bungalows are spacious and very clean, there is hot water in bathrooms which awesome! Bathrooms are open and you can see palms while having a shower. Breakfast can be better but I believe they will improve 😊

We had a wonderful stay at Raalmadu Wilpattu. The safari experience was absolutely amazing, and the natural surroundings made it truly special. The hotel manager, Kuma, took excellent care of us and always made sure we felt welcome and looked after. The room was simple and rustic, but that’s exactly what you would expect in the middle of the jungle — it added to the charm and authentic feeling of the place. The only small downside was that the private pool next to our room wasn’t usable at the time. However, they are currently building a larger pool, and we are sure it will be fantastic once it’s finished. Overall, we can highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a unique jungle experience with warm hospitality and unforgettable safaris!

A very nice and openminded couple who welcomed us with a fresh watermelon drink and gave us great recommendations. We had very delicious dinner and breakfast along with great conversations there. Both meals were freshly prepared and adjusted to our vegan diet. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is well connected to the Munneswaram Kovil as it is directly next to a main road. Would definitely recommend and come again!!

Calm and beautiful location. 5 mins walk to the beach.

We had a really relaxing and enjoyable stay at Blu Edge Beach Resort.The location is fantastic—right by the beach with a calm and peaceful atmosphere, perfect for a quiet getaway.The pool and outdoor area were also nice for relaxing. Rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was good, especially breakfast. Good value for money—would definitely recommend for a peaceful stay.
