I recently had the pleasure of staying at Urban Hotel Suite, and it truly exceeded my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the staff greeted me with warmth and professionalism. The suite was spacious, modern, and impeccably clean. The decor was stylish and comfortable, with every amenity I could possibly need. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. The hotel's location is perfect, Whether you’re looking to explore the city or relax in comfort, it’s ideally situated. I also appreciated the delicious breakfast options. What truly sets this hotel apart, however, is the level of service. Every staff member went out of their way to ensure I had a pleasant stay, and their attention to detail was remarkable. Overall, my experience at Urban Hotel Suite was fantastic, and I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a top-notch stay in the city. I’ll certainly be returning in the future!

Location is great, right in the heart of Nouakchott close to everything, including all necessary facilities such as banks, ATMs, pharmacies etc. the room is huge, well cleaned and comfortable. AC helps a lot. Breakfast is super nice, freshly baked pastries and bread, freshly pressed orange juice - all with an amazing view of the city, on 10th floor. Stuff are very kind and helpful.

Well, well, well… As a person travelling on a motorbike, I usually judge cities and places by how good or bad their drivers are, and Mauritania unfortunately doesn’t rank very high in my case. Dangerous drivers everywhere, and it’s quite a dirty city, with lots of sand and locusts. That said, Nouakchott has its own raw character and energy. Life happens out in the open, the streets are busy and unpredictable, and it feels very different from anything you’d experience in Europe or elsewhere. It’s not an easy city to love at first sight, especially on two wheels, but it is real, intense, and memorable. With a bit more order and care, it could be a much more enjoyable place — but as it stands, it’s a challenging stop for motorbike travelers.

Don't expect any real tourist attractions.

Don't expect any real tourist attractions. Take it for what it is. Go to the same store every day and get to know the person that works there. Find a hole-in-the-wall restaurant and go there each day and try everything (or the same thing if they only have 1 item on the menu). You are bound to meet people that will make your stay enjoyable.

Nice and beautiful city.

Nice and beautiful city. Don’t get hasseled into anything considering everyone is looking to make some money. Big city, with a big market, make sure you discus prices with every cab drivers. I was presently suprised since i saw some places you dont see on the internet or in any travel vlogs.
