- From $496 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 513 reviewseverything was exceptional… this is not 4 stars resort, there is really no difference between it and the other 5 stars resorts in Mauritius, the service was amazing, they really do care about the customers comfort, we did the check in inside our room! what a great service!! they always care about the cleanliness of the room, and the house keeping was always there when we need them. all the staff were amazingly helpful, smiling, and so caring. the prices was really good compared to the other resorts. thank you sands team, you made our stay for the new year 2023 amazing and remarkable.Guest review byHalaSaudi Arabia
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 6.9Pleasant - What previous guests thought, 555 reviewsExcellent service !!! the staff were excellent, including Mr Dave, Mr Benni, Lukmaan ,Nitesh , and the staff with the towels and entertainment area, Everyone is so polite, hospitable and helpful . The breakfast was good , the beach views were excellent , if you took a stroll up the beach the views are amazing . I travelled with 2 small kids ( aged 2 and 6 ) and they were so at home .The rooms were spacious enough to tuck away your luggage on shelves, and have a spacious room for the kids to be in . We opted for the Bed and Breakfast option , and it worked out great :)Guest review byKhadijaSouth Africa
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Excellent - What previous guests thought, 766 reviewsA beautiful resort. Very lively! Every day there was something different going on. Most of the staff are flexible and will go out of their way to help! Even when faced with a minor issue here or there it is handled perfectly and that’s the most important part! The beach is beautiful, the dinner buffet variety was impressive! Stayed for 5 nights and it was a different cuisine/theme every night! With live cooking stations and something for everyone.Guest review byDin AmyUnited Arab Emirates
- From $454.73 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.0Very Good - What previous guests thought, 251 reviewsService and restaurant . Really very nice staff and service. My mum has problem with her leg and they arranged the room just near restaurant .and all my requests and questions were solved or answered very well. And I stayed 4 hotels ,all are 4or 5stars hotels around Mauritius island and their buffets for breakfast and dinner were high level among them.we even had a Chinese traditional topic eve buffet with high quality food and a live dancing show.Guest review byZHUYIChina
- From $729.41 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 149 reviewsTop standard hotel and resort. Spacious, well designed and perfectly equipped villas. Relatively good privacy. If not for the common inner court areas privacy would rank at top. Great service, adequate to a price. True variety in restaurants, they are totally not alike as in some resorts. Beach is not top notch for sea swimmers, but that is a general thing at Mauritius. Still good for sport and jogging. Overall expensive but is worth it.Guest review byAlexeiRussia
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 449 reviewsUnique and stunning accommodation. We wanted to stay somewhere more interesting than one of the massive Mauritian chain hotels and this place blew us away. The breakfast was EXCEPTIONAL- farm fresh and delivered to your private cottage. We made a lovely fire at our cottage and watched the sun set. Also incredibly convenient location to the Charmel waterfall and ebony forest and Le Morne.Guest review byEleanorUnited States
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.4Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 408 reviewsThe location and the service were excellent. We stayed for 3 nights and would go back tomorrow. The location is remote and quiet and you have the feeling of being completely isolated. The views and surrounding areas are beautiful and the view from the view bar is also spectacular at sunset! The staff were incredibly helpful and always happy to assist.Guest review byOliverUnited Kingdom

Flic'en'Flac is the best place to stay on Mauritius, especially if you're visiting Mauritius in July. North was windy, south rainy but west side just perfect. It is a nice, vaste sandy beach with pine trees and palm trees, nice hotels and resorts, bars, restaurants and street food.Guest review byAndrijaCroatia - 10.0

Tu beach is just amazing, the color of the water is impressive, in the public beach you have to possibility to see the see turtles. The place is a piece of paradise. Definitely worth to go and to spend some time there. I would recommend an hotel next to the le Morne beach most of the hotel do not have the possibility to eat or rent the sun bed just daily. Also I would recommend the experience of swimming with the dolphins that is offered almost everywhere.Guest review byAnnaItaly - 8.0
Great first time visit to the Island.
Great first time visit to the Island. Beautiful beaches with a multitude of activities for all ages. Christmas Day boat trip to Ile Aux Benitiers, which included a tasty braai (barbeque) swimming with dolphins and snorkeling around Crystal RockGuest review byRusselSouth Africa - 8.0

We liked the area close to the Riviere Noire Reserve and it was convenient for the quieter beaches on the south coast. We recommend a guided tour of the Ebony Forest Reserve. We had a fascinating day out with a very knowledgeable guide and saw a lot of birdlife; the views out to sea are also stunning. Be warned: driving in Mauritius is not easy, even with satnav! We got lost several times, especially around Port Louis. If you choose to go to Port Louis, we recommend using the local bus. There is a bus stop two minutes' walk from the apartment (shortly before London Way supermarket). You can pick up a bus at about 7.30 am and return on a 119 bus at 30 minutes past the hour from Immigration Square near the waterfront of Port Louis. If you want to eat out, the Happy Rajah restaurant on the main road serves good value Indian food. The fish thali is particularly tasty.Guest review byVirginiaItaly - 10.0

It's a properly rustic paradise area, away from the more fabricated hotel resorts. Lots of locals who know one another and it feels safe, if a little rough around the edges. It has its own cultural and geographical charm that seems to differentiate it from other parts of Mauritius. Lots of places to eat, a good supermarket - seems expensive for the area, but I think this is quite common. Good offers of boat hire to get over to Ile aux Benitiers, which is well worth it. Close proximity to the lovely Morne peninsular and Black River Gorges National Park and surrounds.Guest review byPaulUnited Kingdom - 10.0

this is amazing place, the view is breathtaking, the chalet is spacious, very calm, the food is satisfying and the staff is very supportive and helping. it is ideal for a short stay as if you would like to do more tours the location is bit far from everything and very challenging to reach. the best is to stay there and visit the nearby places around Chamarel.Guest review byDragicaUnited Arab Emirates - 10.0

We liked our chosen accommodation, we had a good view of the beach from our balcony, the staff were great and we want to go back to sample lunch at the Creole Shack! The beach was lovely and safe for swimming and there was a good variety of eateries from beach stalls to high end restaurants and all manner of cuisines. Everything is in walking distance and four km in land there is a very large mall being built and a new state of the art hospital. We will definitely be going back.Guest review byLesleyUnited Arab Emirates - 2.0
Financial exploitation is the title of this hotel.
Financial exploitation is the title of this hotel. Financial exploitation defines the taxi drivers. Financial exploitation dominates the boat rental services. Financial exploitation extends even to the zoo. Exploitation is the main theme, and as a city, it offers nothing enjoyable.Guest review byMohamed Zaher - 8.0

At the Veranda Tamarin hotel - the only real turn-off was that only one tv channel was in English - BBC World. All others in French / Creole. No mainstream music channels. Tamarin is a small village, full of friendly people. The atmosphere is open and you get the sense of tranquility and safety. It is centrally located for South and West visiting. something for everyone.Guest review byNeilSouth Africa - 10.0
