Location is abit off track but google map will brings you there. Private small farm of 6000 hectares. Farm manager Rohan has alot of passion and knowledge of the farm and eco system and always ready to bring and show us around. We saw some Kudus, Springboks, Oryx, Zebras Bat eat foxes and even a rare wild Pangolin! ☺️ The 3 farm ladies ( Josie, Eufemia & Dorcas) excellent hospitality and service. Like many said, they genuinely care about the guests and make us feel at home right from the start being so faraway from our country. Josie especially wonderful lady and great chef to make us feel happy with her food. She is always attentive and caring throughout our 4 nights stay. This is truly a nice small hospitable farm filled with love and care. The staffs is a great assets to the owner rending impeccable service which will form a wonderful memory for me and my daughter in many years to come. ☺️☺️ Keep up the good work 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

A sign on the building says "more legend than hotel" and I tend to agree: this is an absolutely amazing place to stay. It really has everything: beautiful, comfortable and spotless rooms, a pleasant garden, great breakfast, super-friendly service, secure parking, fast wifi. All this comes at really reasonable rates and a quiet location that is just 2 blocks away from the sea and within walking distance of the incredibly good Anchors restaurant.

Breakfast was delicious, friendly, relaxed and comfortable all with a sea view onto crashing waves in the background. My veranda and bedroom had views onto curling waves peeping up through exotic palm trees with a glimpse onto an ancient light house to further dream on sea faring stories.

The Strand Hotel felt like an oasis after coming from the desert…extremely welcoming staff everywhere, sumptuous yet cozy interieur, a extremely varied breakfast buffet with endless choices and 3 restaurants incl. outdoor & sea facing terras/bar in house - there was nothing we could ask for on top of that!

What a fantastic place to stay!

What a fantastic place to stay! Newly built with all the mod cons, including a lovely patio area with braai facilities. Safe area to walk in and a great location. Very well priced so it exceeds your expectations by far. I highly recommend this place.

The Waterfront of Walvis Bay is quite a vibe on a Saturday afternoon. The restaurants have a variety of delicious seafoods on the menu. I would recommend a boat trip from the Waterfront to see the diverse marine life of Walvis Bay, which include seals, dolphins, etc. A trip to the popular Dune 7, to try and climb one of the highest sand dunes is quite a treat. And off course, a guided tour on a quad bike through the sand dunes is quite and experience.

Omaruru was a lovely surprise.

Omaruru was a lovely surprise. It was a short trip to break our journey on the way to Swakopmund. Such a lovely, beautiful town with the loveliest and friendly people. Great restaurants with german cuisine, and very very safe. We walked around for hours at night and felt so safe.

This is a residential area that includes vacation rentals.

This is a residential area that includes vacation rentals. It was quiet and felt safe. There are no shops. There are several large concrete pools that fill with seawater and are used for swimming. There is one small restaurant near the swimming area that is open limited hours during the off season.

Best seafood in Namibia you will get at Fishy Corner- fresh and masterchef quality The Spar Henties is a shopping experience on its own. You will go in for 5 items and comes out with a trolly full of goodies. The weather, the people, the houses with their own unique character makes Henties Bay a must visit place.

Wilhelmstal is just a tiny place along the B2.

Wilhelmstal is just a tiny place along the B2. To reach Khan River Lodge you follow the signs that lead you 20 km from the tarred road B2 to the Lodge on sandy farm roads. The trip is no problem also for normal sedan cars. Food is offered at the lodge while self- catering is also a possibility. Their breakfast is very rich and nice. The lodge also offers game drives to their customers.

Our two beds apartment on the second floor overlooking the ocean. It has almost everything you may need in the house for a day to day living.. it has a little braai area and some outdoor chairs and little tables that can be used at the balcony. Quiet neighborhood

Cleanest town, friendly and helpful people. What i loved the most is in all my travels I was yet to meet any black person that looked like me (Zimbabwean) all other nationalities I cd always tell that there was something different from how I looked, then finally I get to see Namibians and I was elated realizing that finally there is a nationality that looks just like me, felt so at home because of that. Anyway, back to what's important. Namibia should be on everyone's bucket list. God outdid Himself here, He showed how majestic He is. To think He created all this without a blueprint, simply amazing. Namibia is gorgeous, marvelous, amazing...no words can describe it, no pictures can do this country justice, you just have to visit to experience it. Food is amazing and their portions are crazy, we never cd finish a meal though enjoying every bite. Loved Napolitana right close to Prost Hotel. Activities...dont leave without experiencing the Sandwich Harbour. Initially wanted to hire a vehicle but realised there was no need as all activities included free pick up from hotel. Got to explore the town on foot, which was good exercise...not that I needed it that much as tjooo walking on the dunes was a tough work out on its own

The lovely grounds. The room was a little disappointing .. Looking into road entrance and neighbours open messy garden. Room quite small. Evening meal and breakfast were sub standard. They were very helpful and changed our booking dates, due to sickness that delayed us by a week.
