Villa Wiese is run by amazing people who are hospitable and caring. We spent there two nights enjoying the time. It is located not so far from the oceanline. It takes about 10-15 min to reach nice shops and restaurants.

The staff was amazing, they were very helpful and communicative and interactive, they booked all the activities for us, the hotel is very well located, the room was spotless, with an amazing view of the Lagoon, 5he breakfast is very diverse and delicious. Second time at this location but this time got to do more sightseeing than previous. Food in the bar area was good with good portion of meat/fish. Staff in the reception very helpful and liked to know we were back after the circular walks up the nearest mountain. This place does get busy with day trippers if a cruise ship arrives in Walvis Bay but the kitchen is well set up for the masses with pre booked lunches so this should be an issue ordering.

Too many beggars and people trying to be your tour guide and also get you to buy souveniers. Swakopmund has exploded as a town and has lost a lot of the small German coastal town charm that I remember from the 1980s

The Waterfront of Walvis Bay is quite a vibe on a Saturday afternoon. The restaurants have a variety of delicious seafoods on the menu. I would recommend a boat trip from the Waterfront to see the diverse marine life of Walvis Bay, which include seals, dolphins, etc. A trip to the popular Dune 7, to try and climb one of the highest sand dunes is quite a treat. And off course, a guided tour on a quad bike through the sand dunes is quite and experience.

The room was very nice with a great bathroom. Towels and linen were top grade. Personnel handled us with respect and friendly. We had a great time at Omaruru. We had dinner in the bar which was very nice.

Henties was always a fishing destination. The fishing is getting worse every year, and with the entire town infrastructure based on this fishing tourism industry, the powers that be need to take notice. You will soon loose this gem if you don't act now.

This is a residential area that includes vacation rentals.

This is a residential area that includes vacation rentals. It was quiet and felt safe. There are no shops. There are several large concrete pools that fill with seawater and are used for swimming. There is one small restaurant near the swimming area that is open limited hours during the off season.

Wilhelmstal is just a tiny place along the B2.

Wilhelmstal is just a tiny place along the B2. To reach Khan River Lodge you follow the signs that lead you 20 km from the tarred road B2 to the Lodge on sandy farm roads. The trip is no problem also for normal sedan cars. Food is offered at the lodge while self- catering is also a possibility. Their breakfast is very rich and nice. The lodge also offers game drives to their customers.

Our two beds apartment on the second floor overlooking the ocean. It has almost everything you may need in the house for a day to day living.. it has a little braai area and some outdoor chairs and little tables that can be used at the balcony. Quiet neighborhood

Omaruru was a lovely surprise.

Omaruru was a lovely surprise. It was a short trip to break our journey on the way to Swakopmund. Such a lovely, beautiful town with the loveliest and friendly people. Great restaurants with german cuisine, and very very safe. We walked around for hours at night and felt so safe.
