I loved the sea view from our hotel room and how spacious the room was . The service was superb and nothing was too much for the staff there. I also had a massage by Anna and honestly it was the best one I ever had and I get massages done once a month in the city but this one was amazing.Anna outdid herself.

Desert Breeze is a breath of fresh air! Tucked away at periphery of town, in a quiet neighborhood, facing the dunes. The views are to die for!!! It’s such a serene and relaxing place perfect for a couple getaway. The gospel music played at breakfast on Sunday morning was so befitting- it’s just amazing to listen to that music as you admire Gods handwriting outside! There’s a path close to the facility to walk to the dunes so you can experience them at your own pace! The staff are really friendly and professional. They did well to market and encourage us to stay more nights, pity we had other commitments but we were sold!

We could not have wished for a better stay. The property is set in beautiful gardens and the tranquility is a real tonic. Our self catering unit was well equipped and spotless. What made our stay however was the first class customer service. The staff were welcoming and nothing was too much trouble.

I was there for one night. Breakfast was great; a wonderful array of choices: mini quiches,bacon, breads. The best was the Namibian oysters and champagne! You can't beat Namibian oysters and they're so good for you.

I liked walking at the beach and catching early morning breeze between Strand hotel and Platz LA meer.. swakopmund is a wonderful holiday destination, eateries and places of relaxation are within proximity, quite safe., easy to get around.

The Waterfront of Walvis Bay is quite a vibe on a Saturday afternoon. The restaurants have a variety of delicious seafoods on the menu. I would recommend a boat trip from the Waterfront to see the diverse marine life of Walvis Bay, which include seals, dolphins, etc. A trip to the popular Dune 7, to try and climb one of the highest sand dunes is quite a treat. And off course, a guided tour on a quad bike through the sand dunes is quite and experience.

Omaruru was a lovely surprise.

Omaruru was a lovely surprise. It was a short trip to break our journey on the way to Swakopmund. Such a lovely, beautiful town with the loveliest and friendly people. Great restaurants with german cuisine, and very very safe. We walked around for hours at night and felt so safe.

Best seafood in Namibia you will get at Fishy Corner- fresh and masterchef quality The Spar Henties is a shopping experience on its own. You will go in for 5 items and comes out with a trolly full of goodies. The weather, the people, the houses with their own unique character makes Henties Bay a must visit place.

This is a residential area that includes vacation rentals.

This is a residential area that includes vacation rentals. It was quiet and felt safe. There are no shops. There are several large concrete pools that fill with seawater and are used for swimming. There is one small restaurant near the swimming area that is open limited hours during the off season.

Wilhelmstal is just a tiny place along the B2.

Wilhelmstal is just a tiny place along the B2. To reach Khan River Lodge you follow the signs that lead you 20 km from the tarred road B2 to the Lodge on sandy farm roads. The trip is no problem also for normal sedan cars. Food is offered at the lodge while self- catering is also a possibility. Their breakfast is very rich and nice. The lodge also offers game drives to their customers.

What a fantastic place to stay!

What a fantastic place to stay! Newly built with all the mod cons, including a lovely patio area with braai facilities. Safe area to walk in and a great location. Very well priced so it exceeds your expectations by far. I highly recommend this place.

The lovely grounds. The room was a little disappointing .. Looking into road entrance and neighbours open messy garden. Room quite small. Evening meal and breakfast were sub standard. They were very helpful and changed our booking dates, due to sickness that delayed us by a week.
