Could not get down the bridge because of hight and had a kind guard who assisted. Management could not be better. Kind, welcoming, friendly and went out of their way to make every moment remember-bale. A super stay.

Beautiful place and amazing staff. When my husband and I arrived in the afternoon we thought we could do a self-drive to Sandwich Habour. We realized that you could only reach sandwich habour on guided tours. 30 minutes after arriving to the lodge, the staff had helped us book an early morning trip to the habour, wauw! I liked walking at the beach and catching early morning breeze between Strand hotel and Platz LA meer.. swakopmund is a wonderful holiday destination, eateries and places of relaxation are within proximity, quite safe., easy to get around.

The Waterfront of Walvis Bay is quite a vibe on a Saturday afternoon. The restaurants have a variety of delicious seafoods on the menu. I would recommend a boat trip from the Waterfront to see the diverse marine life of Walvis Bay, which include seals, dolphins, etc. A trip to the popular Dune 7, to try and climb one of the highest sand dunes is quite a treat. And off course, a guided tour on a quad bike through the sand dunes is quite and experience.

Omaruru was a lovely surprise.

Omaruru was a lovely surprise. It was a short trip to break our journey on the way to Swakopmund. Such a lovely, beautiful town with the loveliest and friendly people. Great restaurants with german cuisine, and very very safe. We walked around for hours at night and felt so safe.

Henties was always a fishing destination.

Henties was always a fishing destination. The fishing is getting worse every year, and with the entire town infrastructure based on this fishing tourism industry, the powers that be need to take notice. You will soon loose this gem if you don't act now.

This is a residential area that includes vacation rentals.

This is a residential area that includes vacation rentals. It was quiet and felt safe. There are no shops. There are several large concrete pools that fill with seawater and are used for swimming. There is one small restaurant near the swimming area that is open limited hours during the off season.

Wilhelmstal is just a tiny place along the B2.

Wilhelmstal is just a tiny place along the B2. To reach Khan River Lodge you follow the signs that lead you 20 km from the tarred road B2 to the Lodge on sandy farm roads. The trip is no problem also for normal sedan cars. Food is offered at the lodge while self- catering is also a possibility. Their breakfast is very rich and nice. The lodge also offers game drives to their customers.

What a fantastic place to stay! Newly built with all the mod cons, including a lovely patio area with braai facilities. Safe area to walk in and a great location. Very well priced so it exceeds your expectations by far. I highly recommend this place.

The lovely grounds. The room was a little disappointing .. Looking into road entrance and neighbours open messy garden. Room quite small. Evening meal and breakfast were sub standard. They were very helpful and changed our booking dates, due to sickness that delayed us by a week.

You will go in for 5 items and comes out with a trolly full of goodies. The weather, the people, the houses with their own unique character makes Henties Bay a must visit place.
