Owners and staff exceedingly welcoming, attentive and friendly, nothing was too much trouble for them. We were the only guests staying on one night and the staff kindly set up both our evening meal and breakfast tables out on the patio overlooking the waterhole. Wildlife on the waterhole was amazing - a huge herd of Eland on one night. Morning and afternoon wildlife drives were offered. Easy to get to the lodge - with the drive to the lodge straight off of the B8

We stayed here for one night. The farm was super clean and spacious. The managers & staff were very friendly and present (in a very positiv way). There are many animals around which really calmed us down. The hike was nothing special but nice for a little move. The dinner and breakfast was extremely good.

We really enjoyed our stay a the Farm Shop. It's a bit quirky. If you are looking for a unique experience,  being treated in a very personal way and enjoy amazing food, this is the place for you. The owner, Ulf, a German married to a Namibian woman, takes his time to engage with his guests. The food was outstanding,. Both the dinner and the breakfast were the best we had in Namibia. Most of the food is from their own farm or from neighbouring farms.  The large main dining room is traditionally thatched and both elegant and cozy. I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect location for a stop over when traveling through Namibia. We were on route from Botswana to Swakop and needed somewhere to sleep. This beautiful venue was perfect. The hostess was extremely kind and helpful. She had pre-prepared casserole dishes that we could buy to simply warm up on arrival as well as breakfast packs for departure and the food was delicious and very well priced. The cottage was spotless and elegant and we will definitely be back.

Pondoki Rest Camp is located 6 km outside Grootfontein on the B8 route to Rundu. It offers an outdoor pool and a restaurant.

This property is in the perfect location for a stopover and had lots of quirky decor throughout the camp. The waterhole with a live feed in the bar was excellent. Food was good and the resident bush babies awesome.

Ghaub is an exceptional property, situated in its own nature conservatory and on the site of an old mission. There is a lot of history in the property, accompanied by an old graveyard and rock etchings dating back to some of the earlier San inhabitants. Take the opportunity and go for long, relatively easy walks and you will be rewarded with a multitude of wildlife sightings of virtually every kind. Accommodation is in three blocks of farmhouse-style rooms, surrounded by large airy verandas, lovely to enjoy with a long, cold drink. There are also three seemingly well appointed campsites for those wanting to brave a slightly wilder accommodation option. Certainly a property we will return to time and time again.
