3-star hotel with 5-star service. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and they made our stay a very memorable one. I i travelled with a large group and everyone found the hotel and staff to be exceptional, From Filimon, to Faith, and Steven to name a few, they all helped our stay be that much better. The rooms were very comfortable and the hotel food is lovely. With friendly bar staff and restaurant hostesses.

The location was fantastic with the red dunes in front of all property, the villas, the bar, the breakfast / dinner room. Driving to the property was great experience - came in the sundowner. The breakfast and evening buffet - high quality food. Fresh food, excellent barbacue, salads, and their home-made ice cream. Good service by people who worked at the property. Friendly bartenders. Extraordinary sundowner with the guide from Desert Grace - our guide was highly skilled on the animals, friendly and chill person.

We had the pleasure of living in Namibia (Windhoek) for 2...

We had the pleasure of living in Namibia (Windhoek) for 2 years (with our children) in the 1990's and this trip back was a chance to share this time again with our children and to introduce Africa to our grandchildren. Windhoek has grown into a remarkably cosmopolitan city and Namibia itself is a very safe and easy country to tour. English is very widely spoken, accommodation is very reasonably priced and the wildlife is spectacular with Etosha a great national park to experience the big 5.

The room was extremely comfortable and we would have loved to spend more time here. We booked the sunrise drive which was one of the highlights of our trip to Namibia. The sunrise went on forever and our guide was very informative. Surprisingly we were the only ones who chose the option that morning. The only downside was the restaurant. While the food was OK we had to sit inside next to a large mobile air conditioner. One staff member would move it so it didn’t blow directly on us and another would move it back. It was so strong it kept blowing our plastic water bottle over. A bit more sensitivity would have been welcome.

Besides what I already said, I really appreciated the good reading lights at the beds. So often the bed lights are useless. Namibgrens caters for everything, within a beautiful scenic surrounding. There is just no end!

i loved how safe the place is.

i loved how safe the place is. Our kids are young aged 7,4 and 2 years old. At first i was sceptical about them sleeping at the Gypsy wagon alone whilst we were in the other cabin about 20 meters away from them. But the kids actually enjoyed sleeping alone. Everything is just so perfetct and the creativity is on another level.

The people were friendly and assisting when asked questions about the area and its places of interest. Sicilia restaurant the food was delicious, the pizza was the best. To get around town we took a walk, it was safe.

We stayed in this location mainly to visit Sossusvlei which is further south. Solitaire itself is a charming but tiny settlement - only a few buildings and a petrol station, however it has an amazing cafe serving "the world's best apple pie" and it was! Solitaire is about a 20 minute drive from Soft Adventure Camp at the Namib Naukluft Lodge.

The museum is an amazing tribute to the people of Namibia and a stark reminder of humanity's ability for cruelty. I think it is worth visiting for both citizens and visitors to the country. The restaurant on the 4th floor is a hidden gem. Great setting and excellent service

SOlitair mountain lodge is a beautiful lodge with an incredible setting. they have a beautiful pool and watering hole close by which brings animals in such as zebra and Gemsbok/Oryx. The rooms were comfortable and large and the space is neat and well maintained. friendly staff made it extra easy to check in. We definitelywould stay and extra night at this lodge.

The place is well situated and conveniently isolated to provide maximum enjoyment, the view is picturesque and calm. You have the freedom to prepare the food and enjoy it in a space that is well-organized and sufficient within one's needs. Easy access to the place with a small scenery to and from the place and one can also go on a sightseeing drive on good roads. The place is beautiful, excellently designed, well maintained and provides an exclusive intimate environment.
