This stay was something truly special. From the moment we arrived, we felt a deep sense of peace. The property was immaculate, beautifully maintained, and wonderfully quiet, offering a level of seclusion that allowed us to fully disconnect and simply be present. We could not have been happier there. Rolf and Rachel are exceptional hosts in the truest sense of the word. Their kindness is immediate and sincere, and it shapes the entire experience. They prepared delicious, thoughtfully made meals for us and organised a game drive that was nothing short of extraordinary, allowing us to get closer to wildlife than anything we experienced in Etosha in a way that felt intimate, respectful, and deeply memorable. What we will remember most, however, is not only the comfort, the food, or even the incredible wildlife encounters, but the people themselves. Rolf and Rachel’s generosity, warmth, and genuine care made us feel not like guests, but truly welcomed. We are genuinely grateful to have met them, and that human connection is what elevates this stay from excellent to unforgettable. This place stays with you, not just as a destination, but as a meaningful part of the journey.

We absolutely loved Okutala lodge. Our accommodation was in beautifully designed, stylish and exceptionally comfortable bungalows, each with its own well positioned sun terrace and large well equipped bathroom. The gardens, pool areas and reception were very stylishly decorated and well maintained. The outdoor dining area needs a special mention and was exceptional, with beautiful views of the open bush and a nearby waterhole that attracted rhinos, giraffes and different species of antelope both morning and evening. Viewing the sunsets from this terrace was indeed a memory that will stay with us forever. We went on a full day and a nighttime game drive with Romario, whose knowledge of nature, birds and animals can only be described as exceptional. Both game drives were equally excellent. The attention to detail in this lodge, to both the comfort and safety of all guests was very impressive. We were very grateful to all the lovely welcoming staff who made our stay so memorable.

We spent two nights at Etosha Safari Camping2Go, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. Our tent was impressively spacious, with a large concrete terrace, a generous bathroom, and an excellent shower. Everything was well maintained. The outdoor kitchen and barbecue were fully equipped with all necessary utensils. Although we had everything we needed to cook for ourselves, we never ended up using it, the atmosphere at the lodge restaurant was simply too inviting, and the food was delicious and very reasonably priced. The absolute highlight was indeed the lodge. The restaurant and bar, including the cozy outdoor bar, offered a wonderful atmosphere every evening. A group of four musicians played live music each night, creating a warm and lively ambiance. One evening there’s an outdoor barbecue, the next day a buffet, and both were absolutely excellent. The staff were incredibly friendly and clearly enjoyed what they were doing; they even joined in dancing to the music! A special mention goes to the maître d’hôtel, Pius, who was exceptionally welcoming and kind. We truly enjoyed every moment at this resort, from the inviting swimming pool to the stunning surroundings and the excellent meals. In short, an absolute must-stay when visiting Etosha!

Lovely campsite with much better facilities then any of the campsites inside Etosha itself. The private ablutions are very well equipeed. Fuel station, large and great convenience store and good food. You’re only 5 minutes away from Etosha itself. Would highly recommend staying here if you’re OK with staying outside Etosha gates, you’ll have a better camping experience.

Danjan and Anita are both wonderful hosts. We felt very welcome at the guest farm and wanted for nothing. They were very knowledgable about the area and it’s history and it was interesting to hear a local farmers perspective. The breakfast and dinner were both excellent and better than most of the commercial lodges we stayed at. Anita baked lovely fresh bread for each meal. The view from the chalet was beautiful and the room itself was huge and well equipped. It says not self catering but there is a small kitchen and you could make some meals if you really wanted. We would definitely stay again

We loved everything - this was a home away from home. Our room was gorgeously and so thoughtfully appointed - just beautiful and spacious. The pool and garden area were tranquil and so pretty (pool was very welcome). The indoor/outdoor dining and lounge area were just fabulous and comfy for lounging around rather than being stuck in your room. The meals (breakfast and dinner) were sensational - home cooking at its absolute best. So very tasty, lots of variety and plenty of food (for seconds)!! The packed brekky for taking on our self drive Etosha safari was plentiful (it actually did both brekky and lunch for us both) and was thoughtfully packed in a cooler bin to keep fresh. Peiter and Mariana have created a wonderful Guest House with such a warm and welcoming vibe. They are both lovey to chat with and learn more about their life in general. We loved absolutely everything ya out our 2 nights here and will highly recommend.

Large private reserve with great game drives. Close to Etosha (1hr). Good-sized clean rooms with aircon. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Food - generous portions of buffet style and BBQ food. Freshly baked bread and home made jams were amazing.
