Oslo was beautiful and so easy to navigate.
Oslo was beautiful and so easy to navigate. One of the best cities I have ever visited. Not too busy. Got to travel to small Oslo islands and explore using the amazing ferry network. Use the Ruter app as it’s so easy to find which transport to use and buy tickets. The seawater pool was a highlight for the family. Would definitely return! Oslo is a great city to be in.
Oslo is a great city to be in. I have visited many times and while the usual sites are great, I have grown to love the city even more as I discover place further away from the centre. For example, you can absolutely visit the museums on Bygdøy, but there are also lovely beaches and walking trails to discover if you venture a little further. We visited Oslo as a family with two kids (8 and 11). It is a great city to visit. Safe, clean and plenty to do. Kids are very well catered for in all the museums. And then there is always swimming if you need a day off. And ferry trips to local islands. Food was delicious and everyone was super nice. It is really easy to navigate the city and surroundings, with or without public transport. Loads of nice places for lunch and dinner. Yokoso was our favourite. Not to mention all the bakeries.
