We rented the apartment, which was very spacious and warm, only 1.5 hours from Cape Reinga. The area is super quiet and secure. Debbie and Dave were great, they pulled out and cleaned the BBQ for us with short notice, really appreciate it!

We stayed two nights in these perfectly located Apartments. The host was super nice, as he was very friendly to chat with as well as he helped us out extending one more night by juggeling bookings around just to make it work. Tank you again! Besides the awesome location right on the waterfront the apartments have everything you need to feel comfy and also to prepare your dinner in the good working kitchen.

My sister and I flew over from Australia to take our father (97 yrs old) up to Cape Reinga. He has never been there, and this is a great place to stay to break up the trip if driving from Auckland. It's a great location right by the water, and the apartment has everything you need. The weather was just perfect, and it's all about chilling out and creating lasting memories. A special mention to our hosts who were just your typical friendly down to earth people. Thank you for making our stay very special.

Such a lovely, relaxing place to stay. Just a short walk up the road from the beach and surrounded by subtropical trees, the accommodation felt like a perfect little sanctuary. To cook, there is a gas BBQ on the covered deck, and in the cabin there is everything you need for food prep, plus a kettle, toaster, and fridge. It really had everything we needed. I loved the outside shower (in a little wooden hut) with the sink for washing up at the opposite end, so cute, with plenty of hot water, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, plus everything you need to do the dishes, too. The composting toilet was simple but well maintained. The bed was really comfortable, too! There are also some games, and a lovely meditation room in the garden, plus a small sauna (which we didn't end up us). This place was such a good find, and has a very helpful, communicative host.
